Hunters Match

Chapter Two

Neither Amy or Dean saw man and woman lurking in the afternoon shadows of the motel building.
"This is bad"
"This is very bad they were not supposed to meet yet"
"We are going to get in to a lot of trouble for this"
"We always knew it would be close but John was supposed to carry on to the next town." The woman said. She had long brown hair tied back in to a high pony tail. She wore dark blue slacks with a crisp white blouse.
"So what should we do Castiel?" Asked the man. He was shorter than the woman, his head coming bearly up to her shoulder. His grey suit was crumpled and his face was covered in at least two days worth of stubble.
"I am not certain Jerahmeel  Dean and Amy were not supposed to meet for many years yet. We have been orderd to observe, to not interfere but that was before John strayed from the plan.  I need to find out why he did not keep driving and you need to go to Heaven to receive further instructions"
"Please Castiel I don't want to be the one to have to tell them about this situation. They are not going to be happy about Amy and Dean meeting at the wrong time"
Castiel turned to her companion, her blue eyes balzed angrily "I am not happy about you questioning my orders Jerahmeel. You will go to Heaven and I will stay and observe the humans"
There was a slight rustling sound and Castiel was left alone in the shade of the building. The Angels brow furrowed. What could have caused John Winchester to stop driving, what could possibly make him stray from a path ordained by Heaven.
Amy was still standing by the hood of her car looking from the motel office to the Winchesters room and back again. She had a despondent look on her face. For a moment Castiel thought of approaching her and offering help but quickly dismissed the idea. That would mean disobeying a direct order and Castiel was an angel of the Lord. A perfect soldier in the war between good and evil.
