Taehyung, maintaining a polite smile on his face, replied to Joseph's greeting with undertones of irritation still lingering in his voice. "You completely ignored me earlier, shaking hands with Isabella without acknowledging my presence." He said, his tone firm yet controlled.

Joseph chuckled awkwardly, realizing his misstep.

"Ah, my apologies, Taehyung," he replied, attempting to diffuse the tension. "I was just so focused on reuniting with Isabella that I failed to notice you. Please forgive me."

Taehyung's gaze softened slightly, acknowledging Joseph's apology.

"No harm done," he responded, his voice still carrying a hint of displeasure. "Just remember to greet your old friends before you go rushing off to see others."

Isabella quietly took note of the exchange between Taehyung and Joseph. A small smirk tugged at the corners of her mouth, thinking her plan was working as intended. Her suspect on Taehyung ran deeper than she had previously believed.

As the conversation continued, Isabella's mind involuntarily wandered back to a conversation she had with Max a day ago. She recalled asking Max to contact Joseph and strike up a friendly conversation with him and slip in a questions with lines of,

"Have you met up with Isabella yet?" Max had asked Joseph, feigning ignorance.

"No, not yet," Joseph replied, a tinge of disappointment evident in his voice. "I was hoping to catch up with her while I'm in town, but we haven't crossed paths yet."

"You should definitely meet up with her. It's been a while since you two have seen each other." Max said as Isabella asked him to ask.

"Yeah, you're right. I was thinking the same. It would be nice to catch up."Joseph said.

"You know, it could be even better if you offer her a collaboration opportunity. That way, you'll have a more official reason to get together." Max suggested.

Joseph pondered Max's idea for a moment before a smile tugged at the corners of his lips.

"You might be onto something there," he replied, a hint of excitement in his voice. "A collaboration would give me a legitimate reason to meet up with Isabella. It's a great suggestion. Thanks, Max!"

"I was thinking of calling her to set up a meeting," he mused aloud.Max smiled and added, "Why not make it more special? You could have your secretary reach out to her and invite her to a dinner meeting tomorrow. It'll be a pleasant surprise for Isabella."

Joseph's eyes widened, realizing the potential of Max's suggestion.

"That's not a bad idea at all," he agreed, a sly grin spreading across his face. "A surprise dinner invitation from me will certainly catch her off guard. I'll have my secretary reach out to her and arrange everything. This is perfect!" with that they end the call.
