If you knew my secrets you'd never look at me the same
Behind this smile and laughter so bright
There lies a darkness, hidden from sight
Secrets buried deep within my soul
That would change your perception of me as a wholeIf you knew the pain that I have endured
The trials and tribulations that have left me scarred
The battles fought behind closed doors
That have left me wounded, bleeding on the floorIf you knew the mistakes that I have made
The regrets that haunt me, refusing to fade
The choices that I wish I could undo
That have shaped me into the person you thought you knewIf you knew the fears that keep me awake at night
The demons that plague me, refusing to take flight
The doubts that whisper in the dark
That tear at the fabric of my fragile heartIf you knew the struggles that I face each day
The weight of the world that I carry on my shoulders in dismay
The tears that I shed in the silence of night
That reflect the battles I continue to fight
