*TRIGGER WARNING*
This poem has mentions of self harm. Read with caution if you are triggered by this. Thanks for readingIt's hard to forget your past
When it's written all over your body
Every scar, every mark
Tells a story of pain and follyEach line etched into your skin
A reminder of where you've been
The mistakes you've made
The battles you've fought and not wonYou try to move forward
But the past holds you back
Like a weight on your shoulders
Dragging you off trackYou cover up, hide away
But the memories linger
Haunting your every step
A constant reminder
