Strive 182: Wow! Wait, Huh?!

Taoreta's POV

Cree...

I slowly close the door and take out Jir's book. "Okay then," I flip some pages quickly and stop in the middle of the book. "This spell should discord our voices to the other's ears." I draw some symbols that seem to be from ancient times and finish it up with a line.

Fwoosh!

Uhh...

The symbols are wiggling a lot, and not to mention, some of the symbols are fading in and out of existence. This is why I'm not a magic user but a balancer class. 

Ah well! I have a backup plan in case the spell is released early.

I take out a cube and push the button on top.

Whoosh!

A force field appears over my body but then fades away. It's something to zone out my voice, and it'll sound like whispers to the other unless they are closing in. I quickly walked towards Kishi, who was already waiting by the edge of the wall. It wasn't too long before I reached his side, but that's due to me speeding and walking so fast that you would think I wanted to get away from the door from monsters inside of a closet. Although I'm pretty sure if there's such a thing like that, we would've killed it in a heartbeat. 

Anyway,

Once I reach Kishi's side, I remove my cube and then push the button again. 

Whoosh!

Now, the force field appears bigger and engulfs Kishi and me inside its belly. Heh. I guess the moment of being inside that monster had never gone away. However, this isn't the first time a creature has been inside of me, so I guess this one was a pleasant surprise due to the monster just capturing me and not using my body roughly.  Or give me scars all over my body and a burnt one underneath the lower half of my-

Pull!

I felt Kishi pulling my yellow scoff and curiously looking at him.

"Hmm? What is it, Kishi?" I ask my red-haired friend.

"Mmm..." Kishi narrows his eyes at me in anger. Uh oh...

"W-what...?" I ask while sweating with a nervous smile. "You were thinking about the monster who captured you, were you? Along with some things that I don't understand..." Kishi asks in a small voice- HUH?!

"S-shoot! I forgot that he can read my emotions with his heart!" I panic in my mind. I recompose myself and take a few breaths. "U-uh, I don't know what you mean, ahah-"

"Show me," Kishi says in a severe tone.

"Eh?" I widen my eyes in shock.

"Show me that thing you were thinking about. I want to see it." Kishi says with determination. 

"W-w-what.....?!" I blush intensely. 

"Don't play around. We're alone so that no one will see us." Kishi walks closer and looks at me in the eyes. "That doesn't matter, we're outside, Kishi!" I blushed some more and felt my heart racing. Kishi goes closer. "Come on, Tao. It's not. I haven't seen it before. We live together as kids, remember?" 

"T-that was then, and t-this is now!" My whole face turns bright pink at this point. 

"Excuse me..." Kishi whispers with his eyes closed.

"Wha-" 

Swoop!

Kishi bends down to my knee level! W-what is he doing?! Here?! Now?! I-I mean, I'm happy that he's interested down there- WAIT, NO! Stop with that thought process, Taoreta! If he sees it, then Kishi will be angry, and he'll change! Kishi's hands slowly reach out! W- What should I do?! Should I let him do it-?! N-no! I can't do that! Y-yeah, let's not let him do that! Besides, the other girls will think he's trying to force me on-! No! No! No no! I'm feeling my heart beating so fast! Why am I seeing this as a good thing?! I mean, yeah, he's only looking out for me, but I'm happy that he's going to look t-there! Stop it, Taoreta! Bad girl, bad girl!
