The Race Begins!

Class 1-A entered the stadium, and after Present Mic's introduction, the rest of the classes and the support course gathered in front of the small stage. Ben noticed Daisy, still wearing her metal gauntlets.

Ben: Daisy, why are you still wearing those gauntlets?

Daisy: Oh this? I wear them to protect myself from the damaging effects of my quirk. I got permission from the support course beforehand.

Sky joined the conversation, holding a few wooden trinkets.

Sky: I did the same too. Brought my wooden trinkets along for the race.

Midnight: Time for the player pledge!

Many of the students started to clamor and blush at her appearance.

Kirishima: What is Midnight-sensei wearing? (blushing)

Kaminari: That's an R-Rated hero for you.

Tokoyami: Is it okay for her to be at a school even though she's R-Rated?

Midnight soon announced that Bakugou would represent the students and make the pledge.

Ben: Oh boy, this can only go so well.

Bakugou: I pledge..... That I will win!

The crowd erupted in boos, and even some students voiced their disapproval. Some of Ben's classmates were angry at Bakugou for tarnishing Class 1-A's reputation.

Zatanna: Great... now pretty much everybody hates us...

Midnight: The first event will be an obstacle race. And.... Start!

The student's of U.A. all came rushing through forward. Everyone started pushing each other. Ben can feel the temperature drop. And soon Todoroki's was able to freeze most of the contestant's foot however most of Class-1A was able to break through his icy trap. Ben covered his foot with flames, melting the ice and burning his shoes. Zatanna hopped on a circular plate made of mana and started surfing on it in the air. Daisy used her seismic vibrations to free herself. Sky quickly created a Tasmanian tiger and it bit through the ice that was encasing his feet.

Momo: Nice trick Todoroki!

Momo said while creating a pole to launch herself, avoiding Todoroki's ice.

Mineta tried using his quirk to attach himself onto Todoroki while making a perverted comment. But was swatted away like a fly by a gigantic robotic arm. The students we're shocked to see the zero-point robots robots from the entrance exam appear in the race.

Skye: Hey! Those are the things we fought during the entrance exam!

Momo: Where did the school even get the funding for these things?

All of a sudden Todoroki unleashed a wave of ice that froze the robots. The students clamored whether if its safe enough to walk through but soon realized that he purposely froze in an unstable position. The robots started falling on some of the students from the support group. 

Present Mic: Shoto Todoroki from Class 1-A has taken the lead! 

Ben: 'Wait! That bastard is gonna kill those people! Focus.. Remember what Bloom said.'

Focusing intensely, Ben summoned a bow made of fire, its flames flickering with fierce intensity. He quickly nocked a flaming arrow and aimed at the falling robots. With precision and determination, he released the arrow, watching it fly straight towards the nearest robot. It exploded on impact, sending shards of ice and metal scattering harmlessly away from the students.
