Present Mic: With his usual energetic narration Alright, folks, gather around! Today's spotlight is on Stargirl, and let me tell you, her quirk is out of this world! The Cosmic Staff grants her a range of incredible powers. She can fly, shoot powerful energy blasts, create energy constructs, and even enhance her physical abilities. It's a versatile tool that makes her a formidable hero!

Asta admired Stargirl's skillful control over the staff. Courtney demonstrated her flight capabilities by soaring gracefully through the air, her movements smooth and effortless. Then, with a flick of her wrist, she unleashed a dazzling energy blast that carved through a target dummy with precision.

Courtney Whitmore (Stargirl): Smiling The staff's power allows me to channel and manipulate cosmic energy. I use it to create constructs, shoot energy blasts, and protect myself and others. It's all about harnessing the energy and directing it where it's needed most.

Asta felt a surge of inspiration. The way Stargirl wielded the staff, combining grace with raw power, was something she aspired to emulate in her own hero journey.

Asta practiced alongside Stargirl, learning how to refine her own abilities and incorporate the lessons she gained from observing the Cosmic Staff in action. The internship was proving to be both challenging and rewarding, offering her insights into the diverse ways hero quirks could be utilized.

Asta and Stargirl were out on patrol, scanning the city for any signs of trouble. The sun had just begun to set, casting long shadows over the streets. Asta admired how the city came alive in the twilight, the vibrant colors of dusk contrasting sharply with the urban landscape.

Stargirl: Smiling Alright, Starshine, today we're testing your new ultimate moves.  Let's see how they perform in action.

Asta: Nodding I'm ready, Courtney. I've been working hard on perfecting these moves.

As they moved through the city, a sudden commotion drew their attention. A group of masked robbers was attacking a store, creating chaos among the frightened shoppers.

Stargirl: Eagerly This looks like a good opportunity. Let's get in there!

They approached the scene, and Stargirl immediately engaged the robbers with her Cosmic Staff. Asta prepared herself, focusing her energy as she prepared to use her Lunar Beacon.

Asta: Concentrating Lunar Beacon!

She raised her staff high, summoning a radiant beacon of cosmic light that spread across the area. The light illuminated the darkened store, revealing hidden enemies and making it easier for her and Stargirl to see their targets. The robbers, momentarily blinded and disoriented, stumbled around, their attempts at hiding futile.

Stargirl: Impressed Nice work, Asta! Now let's seal the deal.

As the robbers regrouped and began firing at them, Asta quickly activated her Nova Barrier. She conjured a protective barrier of cosmic energy that enveloped her and Stargirl, deflecting incoming bullets and providing a shield against the robbers' attacks.

Asta: Determined Nova Barrier!

The barrier shimmered with a soft, protective glow, absorbing the damage and shielding them from harm. The robbers' bullets ricocheted harmlessly off the barrier, and when the Nova Barrier finally shattered, the explosive release of energy generated a powerful shockwave. This surge not only pushed back the attackers but also amplified Stargirl's strength, enhancing the impact of her energy blasts and allowing her to take down the robbers with greater force.
