The students gathered at Ground Gamma, the industrial area filled with towering metal structures and labyrinthine pathways. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation as they prepared for the next phase of their training.
Some students had made adjustments to their hero costumes, standing ready for the challenges ahead. As they scanned the maze-like environment, they mentally prepared for what was to come, knowing that this would push their abilities to the limit.
Ben approached Asta with a curious expression.
Ben: grinning Hey, Asta, I've been meaning to ask—what's your hero name?
Asta smiled brightly, her eyes shining with pride.
Asta: I'm the Astral Hero: Starshine!
Ben: nodding in approval That suits you perfectly. Starshine... I like it.
As Ben and Asta shared a moment, the rest of Class 1-B arrived at Ground Gamma, their presence immediately noticeable. Among them, Neito Monoma was, as usual, full of boastful energy.
Monoma: grinning smugly Well, well, well, looks like Class 1-A is here to see how real heroes train. But don't worry, we'll show you how it's done! Victory is practically ours already—
Before he could continue, Kendo sighed and stepped forward, her expression one of mild annoyance.
Kendo: That's enough out of you, Monoma.
With a swift motion, she delivered a well-practiced judo chop to Monoma's neck, effectively knocking him out.
Kendo: apologetically to the others Sorry about that. He gets carried away.
The students from both classes exchanged glances, some chuckling at the familiar scene, while others focused on the task ahead.
As the students continued to assemble at Ground Gamma, the atmosphere shifted with the arrival of Aizawa, Vlad King, and Kafka. The three instructors stood before the gathered students, their expressions serious.
Aizawa: in his usual monotone Listen up, everyone. We're about to begin the Joint Training Battle between Class 1-A and Class 1-B.
The announcement caught the attention of all the students, excitement and tension building in equal measure.
Vlad King: with a firm tone The exercise will involve dividing both classes into teams. You'll be facing off against each other inside the training field.
Kafka: adding with a grin And to spice things up, we're bringing in someone special—Shinso Hitoshi will be joining the event.
A few murmurs spread through the crowd as the students turned to spot Shinso, who stood with a determined look on his face.
Aizawa: Each team will battle one match at a time. You'll perceive the opposing team as villains, and your objective is to capture them. The team that captures the most opponents before time runs out and places them inside an "Irredeemable Jail Cell" wins.
The screen nearby flickered to life, displaying the matchups. Ben, Asta, Daisy, Sky, and Zatanna were grouped together, forming a team of five.
Ben: glancing at the screen Looks like we're the team with five members.
Asta: nodding But who are we up against?
Their opponents were revealed: Dan Heng, Tyrone Johnson, Tandy Bowen, and two others they didn't recognize which were Scott Summers and Irelia Xan.
