Ben slowly opened his eyes, wincing as the bright lights of the hospital room pierced through his blurry vision. The sterile white walls and the steady beeping of medical monitors were a sharp contrast to the chaotic battlefield he had just left behind. Kafka was seated beside his bed, her expression a mix of relief and concern.

Kafka: softly You're awake. The police managed to apprehend Super Shredder and Sabretooth. They've been taken into custody, but the remaining members of the Brotherhood managed to escape.

Ben tried to sit up, but the pain in his knee reminded him of his severe injury. He looked at Kafka with a concerned expression.

Ben: hoarsely What about the others?

Kafka: They're all okay. The fight was intense, but we managed to push back the villains and secure the area. Your friends have been helping with the cleanup and reconstruction.

Kafka's words were comforting, but Ben's mind was still racing with the aftermath of the battle. As he continued to recover, news of significant changes came. Hitoshi Shinso had joined Class 1-A, a talented addition who would bring a new dynamic to the team. Ben and his classmates were adjusting to the change, welcoming Shinso into their ranks.

Aoyama had decided to leave UA for good, seeking to redeem himself from the betrayal that had shaken everyone. Despite the class's insistence that he stay and work through the fallout together, Aoyama felt that leaving was the only way for him to make amends and find his own path to redemption. His departure left a void, but the class chose to focus on moving forward and rebuilding their trust.

With the war officially over and Shigaraki along with the Paranormal Liberation Front defeated, Japan began the arduous process of reconstruction. Class 1-A, along with their fellow students and heroes, participated in aiding the construction and recovery efforts. The streets of Japan, once ravaged by chaos, were slowly being rebuilt with the collective effort of heroes and civilians alike.

The end of the war marked a new chapter for everyone. The battles fought and sacrifices made had forged a stronger bond among the heroes. As they worked side by side, they began to heal from the scars of conflict, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with renewed determination and unity.

Ben found solace on the rooftop of UA, the city's evening light casting a warm, calming glow over him. The rooftop had become his sanctuary, a place to find clarity amidst the chaos. He leaned against the railing, looking out over the city that had been so drastically affected by recent events. The hustle and bustle of the world below seemed distant, allowing him a moment of peace.

He was so absorbed in his thoughts that he didn't notice Dan Heng approach until he was close by. Dan Heng walked with a gentle stride, his presence a comforting contrast to the intensity of the past days.

Dan Heng: grinning  Hey, I figured I'd find you up here. It seems like the best place to take a break from everything.

Ben: smiling  Yeah, it is. It's peaceful up here, away from the chaos.

Dan Heng joined Ben at the railing, the two of them taking in the panoramic view of the city as it slowly recovered from the turmoil. The silence between them was companionable, both lost in their thoughts about the journey they'd been through.

Dan Heng: worried  It's hard to believe how much our lives have changed since we first stepped into UA. We've seen so much, fought so hard.

Ben: reflectively  It really is. Sometimes it feels like a lifetime ago. But in all this, I've realized something important.

Dan Heng took a deep breath, his expression growing more serious. He turned to face Ben, his eyes reflecting the sincerity of his words.

Dan Heng: earnestly  Ben, through all of this, I've come to understand just how much you mean to me. I've been holding these feelings inside, but I can't keep them to myself any longer. I love you. I've loved you for a long time.

Ben's heart skipped a beat at Dan Heng's confession. He looked into Dan Heng's eyes, seeing the depth of his emotions and feeling a surge of affection in return.

Ben: softly I love you too, Dan Heng. I've been waiting for the right moment to tell you.

The city lights twinkled around them as they drew closer. Dan Heng reached out, cupping Ben's face gently in his hands. Their lips met in a tender, heartfelt kiss. It was a moment of pure connection, a sweet affirmation of their feelings amidst the backdrop of a world finding its new balance.

As they pulled away, they intertwined their fingers, holding hands tightly. The warmth of their touch and the comfort of their closeness spoke volumes about their shared love and commitment. The rooftop, once a place of solitude, had become a witness to their shared love and the beginning of a new chapter together.
