"Why do you insist on stopping such a war, when you could watch and stay entrained?"
Your eyes switch over to Apollo, after you both settle down near the river in Olympus while the nymphs play with flute around you both at the order of Apollo who has a lyre.
"Humans aren't toys, Apollo" You assert.
"But they are... I apologize, you are correct"
Apollo quickly changes his attitude when he sees you giving him a scolding look.
"Thank you," you reply, softening your expression a bit.
"It's hard to watch them suffer, especially when their lives are being manipulated by our actions."
Apollo nods in understanding, strumming his lyre gently.
The melodic sound fills the air, making the scene feel serene despite the looming conflict.
"Perhaps there was a way to resolve this without bloodshed," you suggest, gazing off into the distance.
"But Helen seems genuinely in love with Paris, and no matter what I do, Menelaus is insistent on having hsi wife returned back, maybe the Trojan War cannot be avoided afterall."
The nymphs' flute music grows louder, the sound echoing through the valley.
However, Apollo's calm silence caused you to lean against his shoulder.
"Just try to give yourself time and relax, you don't need to concern yourself with such matters anymore"
His comforting words only made you remember a very important thing.
"Patroclus!"
You exclaim suddenly remembering that Patroclus will go to battle desguised as Achilles and Hector will kill him thinking that he is Achilles.
You need to stop this from happening.
Apollo watches you get up, transporting away from his sigh, causing him to sigh.
"Pretending to be nice is so tiring"

Your eyes travel around the battlefield searching for any signs of Patroclus or Hector.
When you see Hector approaching an armored figure, you quickly rushed towards him.
Catching the hand holding his sword, you stop the Trojan prince from striking down Patroclus.
Hector looked at you with surprise, his eyes wide with disbelief.
Meanwhile, Patroclus, who was still disguised as Achilles, looked up at you in confusion and relief.
"goddess of aid," Hector said, removing his hand from yours."What do you want?"
You turned to Patroclus, your voice firm but with a hint of concern.
"You must leave this battle, Patroclus. You're not Achilles, and it's not worth your life to die like this"
Hector is surprised that this isn't Achilles.
Patroclus hesitated, the warrior's pride within him struggling to accept your words. But eventually, he nodded, recognizing the truth in them.
"Very well, (Y/n). I'll withdraw."
With that, Patroclus hastily retreated from the battlefield, leaving Hector and you alone.
Hector looked at you, his expression dark but not angry.
"I understand you want to spare innocent lives, but what of the innocents in Troy?"
You met his gaze, your eyes meeting his with a solemn expression.
"Ask your younger brother, he is the one who started this war, Hector"
With a final look at Hector, you turned and vanished from the battlefield, leaving the Trojan prince to ponder your words.
🔆🔆🔆
You stare down at the dead body of Patroclus in shock, as Achilles mourns with sadness and anger.
"What happened?" you inquire, quickly bending down to Patroclus dead body.
"Someone has killed him, it must be those damned Trojans!"
However, you are sure that Apollo is the culprit.
Despite him not being the culprit.
