"Why did you kill him?"
"I didn't kill anyone, what are you talking about?"
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, why did you kill Patroclus?"
Apollo looks at you in confusion and anger.
"I already told you that I didn't murder your little friend, why would I do that?"
Seeing the pure truth behind Apollo's words, you believe him.
It's logical as Apollo is the type that would admit to murdering others.
But who could be the culprit?
"I think we need to find out who's responsible for this," you said.
"We can't have this kind of chaos without reason."
"Ares"
Apollo says his half brother's name calmly.

you teleported back to the battlefield, where chaos still reigned.
The air was thick with the scent of blood and fear.
The sound of clashing swords and cries of pain echoed through the air.
You scanned the battlefield, looking for one who could have possibly played a part in Patroclus's demise.
A few Trojans were fighting nearby, but they appeared too far away to cause any harm to you.
Your eyes then fell on a figure cloaked in shadows, standing off to the side and watching the battle intently.
Your instincts told you that the figure was familiar, and as you approached, you realized that it was Ares, the same culprit you have been searching for.
"Ares!" you called out, making him turn his attention towards you.
Yes, Ares.
The moment you reach him, you punch him directly in the face without hesitation.
"Now, why would you do something foolish like this? To me none less"
"You know exactly what you have done, there was no reason for you to kill Patroclus unless you knew it will continue the war" You accuse him
Ares chuckled, the sound cold and mocking.
"You think you can change the course of fate? Patroclus was never meant to survive this day, he was a sacrifice to further the game, now, I suggest you return to the sidelines"
"This whole time you knew?"
Ares knows about you being from the modern world?
Now, that's something new.
"You manipulated me"
Ares's grin widened.
"You can call it that if you wish, but it's all for a greater purpose, the balance of power, the blood shed."
"And what about the lives lost? The pain and suffering?"
"Collateral damage" Ares replied dismissively.
"Sometimes, to achieve something grand, you must be willing to sacrifice the small."
"I won't allow you to"
However, the wod turns black around you as you get surrounded by three women.
You notice the spindle, measuring rod, and scissors.
The thread is tied around you tightly.
Those are sisters fates, Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropos.
They are the daughters of Nyx.
And seeing Atropos with the scissors near your thread caused you fear.
If she cut off the thread, you are dead.
"What have I done wrong?" you inquire.
"You have done nothing wrong, but your time is up" Clotho who is holding on the spindle explains.
"Indeed" Lachesis says, before looking at Atropos.
"Cut off the thread, Atropos."
You close your eyes, waiting for death, once Atropos cuts off the thread.
But nothing happens, causing you to open your eyes and find yourself back in reality infront of Ares.
The deity of war is shocked.
"Why are you staring like this?" you ask.
But he only has one reply to you.
"You aren't a goddess anymore"
