"Do you all remember the rules?"
"You have already said them many times, we don't need a reminder"
"For saying that, I will repeat the rules again, Odysseus"
"Don't kill women, children, and elderly, Don't destroy homes or tear down trees, and don't kill animals"
"Can we take some women with us when we-"
"Absolutely not, no one is kidnapping any women" you say, pointing an angry finger at Agamemnon.
Agamemnon scowled, but he held his tongue.
The tension in the air thickened as the rest of the warriors quietly listened to you.
Odysseus, his eyes narrowed, tapped his spear against his shield.
"We've all agreed to these terms. For the sake of a victory and the favor of the gods, we will abide by these rules.
"Now, let's focus on our goal to bring back Helen and gain honor for our country."
Achilles says, backing you up.
"You are doing all of this for a personal gain" Patroclus mumbles to himself, not believing what Achilles said.
"But what about those who resist?" asked Diomedes, the brave warrior from Argos.
He is also a favorite of Athena, so you make a note to yourself to be wary of him.
You, always strict with your battle strategy, replied.
"We fight to win, prisoners can be taken as long as they are soldiers, and ransom can be negotiated, but spilling unnecessary blood will only lead to disaster"
"The ship will depart soon, we should get on it now" Menelaus annouces.
°°°
"You are joking with me, right?"
"No, Artemis is holding the wind in his hands"
You completely forgot about how in greek mythology, Agamemnon killed a precious deer of Artemis.
So, Artemis out of anger held the wind to prevent the ship from sailing to Troy.
And Agamemnon scarified his eldest daughter to free the wind.
"I will sacrifice my daughter, Iphigenia" the king of Mycenae declares.
"Shut the fuck up, Agamemnon" you exclaim, feeling anger and disgust at the thought of a father scarfing his own daughter.
The thought of Iphigenia's innocent life cut short in the greek god's name left you shaken.
You remember one sad sentance in the book which is 'Iphigenia died heartbroken'
"It's his daughter that he is sacrificing not yours"
One angry look from you towards Menelus silence the king.
"If it was my daughter, I would have gone to Artemis and pulled his heart and fed it to him for even suggesting such a thing"
Your aggressive reaction made three warriors admire you more.
Achilles, Patroclus, and Diomedes.
"Then how are you going to aid us against Artemis" Nestor, an elderly warrior who was with Heracles, asks.
"I will deal with Artemis"
With that, you transport away.
°°°
"ARTEMIS"
Your furious voice echoes through the temple of the greek deity of hunt.
Suddenly, you get grabbed by your waist from behind, the person sits on the large encarved wooden chair.
You are clearly sitting on the stranger's lap, as your legs are entangled with his wide open ones.
His hand is held firmly against your mouth to block you from speaking.
The stranger, if you haven't guessed yet, is Artemis.
"I have missed you, my dear maiden"
