Roxanne had decided that the whole Feder family would stay, which was great news for everyone. Now the families were getting ready to go to the waterpark.
Alex helped Rita unpack the car while Talia got ready. She put a white two-piece on along with a crochet cover. She looked in the bathroom mirror, running her thumb over the dark marks on her neck. "God damnit, Hollywood," she grumbles.
She knew her make-up wouldn't stay on in the water and there was only one other person in the lakehouse who was close to her skin tone and that she knew wore make-up. Jasmine.
She felt bad for judging the woman despite even speaking a word to her, though she couldn't help it; Alex made her feel happy; she didn't want to lose him to anyone.
The blonde makes it to the room the three half-sisters were staying in and knocks on the door; she feels nervous for some odd reason.
Bridget, the daughter who looked just like Robbie, opened the door, and a smile graced her face when she saw Talia. "Hey, you're Marcus's daughter right?"
"Yeah, it's nice to meet you," Talia shakes Bridget's hand and glances behind her to look into the room "Is Jasmine here by chance?"
"Yeah, come in," Bridget opens the door wider so the blonde can step inside, "Jasmine you have company!" Bridget yells.
"Be there in a sec!" The tall blonde's voice yells from the bathroom.
Talia leans against the dresser and watches as Jasmine comes out of the bathroom, "Talia, right?" The woman smiles stopping in front of her.
"Yeah," The shorter blonde answers with a small smile "I was wondering if you maybe had some waterproof concealer,"
Jasmine raises an eyebrow, a smirk playing on her lips as her gaze drops to Talia's neck where her hair hid the hickeys, not very well, "So Alex and you are serious then?" She questions as she walks to the dresser and digs through a make-up bag that sits on top.
A coat of blush rests on Talia's cheeks. "Wait, how'd you know me and Alex are..." She didn't want to say it together, but that was the only word she could find that fit in the blank.
"When he was fixing my car, he talked about you a lot, he told me,"—a small laugh leaves her as she shakes her head—"how you, Marcus, and Owen made a buzzer noise after my dad's awful singing," Jasmine walks over to Talia with some concealer.
Talia smiled at the memory as Jasmine gave the concealer to her, she felt warm and fuzzy knowing Alex had talked about her. "Yeah, Robbie was pretty pissed, it was funny. Thank you for this," Talia thanked her.
"No problem, keep it I have another one. Besides, you weren't the only one who got some last night," Jasmine grinned as her gaze landed on Amber, who blushed and shifted on the bed. Talia silently cursed herself as she now owed Alex 15 dollars.
"Well I'm gonna go, let you girls get ready for the waterpark, thanks again Jasmine, I really do appreciate this,"
"Anytime," Jasmine gives her a sweet smile as Talia leaves, the concealer tightly clutched in her hands as she silently thanks God that Jasmine is actually really sweet.
When Talia got back to the room, she saw Alex looking out the window, a pair of swimming trunks hanging low on his hips, his muscular back bare for Talia's hungry eyes.
She came to stand behind him, wrapping her arms around his middle and standing on her toes to press a kiss to the spot below the back of his neck. "I owe you 15 dollars," she hums.
Alex smirks. "Do you now?" He questions rubbing his thumb over the back of her palm.
"Yeah, Amber and Owen did it, not him and Jasmine." Talia sighs.
