You explain that you would enter the "Everyday Heroes" contest tonight at the party, while you suggest that you convince Max to tell Chloe to stay at home and handle this on your own.

Max refused to leave you like this, but you denied her help and rely on her rewind power. You told her that someone needs to look out for Chloe if you won't make it to catch the real serial killer. It's a big risk to sacrifice your life, but at least if both your friends could be safe you have to prevent this from happening if more innocent people are killed like what they did to Rachel.

So you beg to let yourself be the victim and beg Max to stay with Chloe if you can expose  the killer, you can call David or your dad to rescue you.

After the most saddest argument Max had no choice to comply, because you might know that she's been keeping secrets if she knows the future, it was wrong to lie even if your friends are stubborn to do foolish things, you must tell them cause other wise it won't end well.

Midnight has arrived and you make sure that you were prepared for anything, you loaded your weapons and you UBS gun.

When you were going to walk out from your room, the door was open wide before quickly slamming it shut and then a person panted.

Vi...

Oh great, what does she want now? To tell you that you need to stop being so reckless? Honestly, you were in no mood for trash talk.

"If you're here for another complainant, I'm really not in the mood right now."  You try to leave but Vi grab your wrist to stop you.

"Wait! Just hear me out. I didn't came all this way to hurt your feeling." Vi's eyes desperately pleads.

You sighed. "2 minutes, I can't stay. We found Rachel's body and I'm going to catch that killer tonight at the "Everyday Heroes" contest. Time is ticking."

Vi blinks in disbelief. "You found Rachel?"

You nodded. "Yeah, Chloe isn't in her right mind.  I decided to do this on my own."

Vi was taken a back. "W-wha- what? No. Don't. Don't go on your own. It's dangerous."

"I know it's dangerous, but it's the only way. Why do think I brought a weapon to defend myself. If my dad can do it, so can I." You argued.

"Your dad huh..." Vi looks to the chart you've been doing with red strings. "You've been tracking him down haven't you?"

"Yeah, and now you're changing the topic. Look, all I know is that Nathan is going is going to kidnap Victoria, I'm going to try and warn her about her at the party and then I had to tell David to arrest him."

"That's a pretty good and stupid idea, but don't go alone." Vi tries to reason with you. "If you want just ask-"

"I can handle this myself." You cut her off.  "I don't want anyone else to get killed, neither my brothers. Rachel's life took a toll on me too. I won't let Chloe be another victim, including Max. You should stay out of my way."

Vi can't believe what she's hearing. It's like she's seeing another personality that effected your life now. She knew you were depressed and she knew that it was her fault for changing you into a cold person. And Anakin just added another fuel to the fire.

"What happen to the optimistic person who wanted to help people? You're going to the point of no return." Vi points out. "You can't do that...if you do...you'll end up losing everything."

You begin to grow frustrated. "So what? Why should you care."

"I do care."

"No you don't. I've been always told that I shouldn't go alone, well this is my choice. You weren't always there. If you were to believe me, why bother coming in my room just to waste my time? You always belittle me how useless I am."
