Morning arrives and just like you planned in your everyday schedule. You brush your teeth and get change. You made yourself breakfast and hop on your wheel chair and role out to meet up with Alex.

All you have to do is try to talk to her in a calm situation, try not to freak her out, just try to make friends and make trust.

You met her back at the Black Lantern where you would have to take the customers order.  You then heard voices of Gabe and Charlotte.

"Ryan, just forget it."

"Stop that. You need to take care of yourself."

"Got Mac patched up. Let's take a look at you now." Jed approaches them from the game room. He looks at Gabe's bruises. "Oh, looks pretty nasty right about here." It was just a tease. Gabe recoils. Jed chuckles.

Alex walks up to Charlotte as Jed continues to check on Gabe. Meanwhile, Charlotte talks with Alex. "Alex! You made it!"

"Charlotte, right?"

"I'm sorry you had to see that fight. What a terrible first impression."

"Dad, I'm taking Gabe to the station. We need a first aid kit that doesn't predate the discovery of bacteria." Ryan interrupts.

Gabe sighs. "It's fine, I don't need to go--"

"Now, Ryan knows what he's doing. Now, you just go with him." Jed instructs.

As Gabe leaves, he turns back to Alex. "Alex, I'll be back soon, okay?" He finally notice you. "(Y/n), perfect timing, show her the ropes."

"Okay." You nodded.

Ryan and Gabe leave. Jed goes behind the bar. "Well, there goes my bartender and my back-up bartender. Accept for you (Y/n)."

Charlotte nods in the direction of the bar, beckoning Alex to join her.  Well so much for talking to her, you'll tell her eventually. If there was a private talk.

Jed approaches you, carrying a take-out container.  "Beef pie special. Watch the gravy."

"Jed, you didn't have to." Charlotte said.

"Now, Ryan said you're skipping dinner. No starving artists on my watch."

"I do have to get going." Charlotte takes the food. "I'm making some pieces for the Spring Festival and they have to be done tonight. Sorry I couldn't talk longer."

"Oh, that's okay." Alex shook her head.

"So glad you're here, Alex. I'm looking forward to getting to know you."

"Yeah. Same."

"Bye. Thanks for the supper." Charlotte walks toward the exit and leaves.

Alex takes a seat at the bar near you and Jed. After a look around, Alex leans on the bar. "So I'm short-staffed at the moment. Gabe tells me you've worked at a restaurant before. Couple years' experience as a server?"

"Uh... Gabe's full of shit. I've never worked in a restaurant before." Alex shrugged.

"Never stops, that one." Jed shook his head.

"But I would love the work, if experience isn't an issue."

"Want to give it a try? It's not too busy right now other than (Y/n), and we keep it informal around here."

"Okay. Thanks."

"All right. So we have a few folks that need checking on." He points at a booth across from him, where two people are seated. "Duckie and Diane over there," He points at a table by a front window, where one person is seated  Steph over here... Vander and his kiddo's over there." He points to the game room and the round table. " Uh, there's a table in the back that needs clearing, also. You tell (Y/n) to  give the food orders to me, and I'll handle anyone here at the bar. All right?"
