Chapter 13: The Flash Drive

You and the new team of mysteries meet up at the Black Lantern. You convince Steph to tell her everything and told her that Alex have supernatural power to see people's emotions.  You and Alex are working at the bar while you four exchange looks.

Steph was totally speechless and in disbelief. "You have a superpower? You're  all f****** with me, right?"

"I'm not so into calling it a "superpower", but all the rest is true." Alex replied.

"Steph, please." You chimed in. "I've - well I wasn't alone who know about supernatural, but me and Vi." You jab your thumb at Vi who was listening. "We've experience this before back at Arcadia Bay. Do you remember Chloe's childhood friend Maxine Caulfield?"

"Uh....maybe? What's it got to do with Max?"

"She has powers, except it's not like Alex who sees emotions. She  has a power to rewind time itself.  We were trying to find Rachel and then I found out that Jefferson was behind all of this when we found her body." You recalled awful memories. "I was literally taken to the Dark Room and he took picture of me..."

"Creepy." Ryan shivers.

"Yeah." Vi nodded and pat your hand. "But he got what he deserves, including that bitch Padme. Sky-Ass-Walker is still a douche bag. But anyways, Steph, you gotta believe us."

Steph sighs out of annoyance. "Fine. Then tell me what I'm feeling right now."

"You're feeling disbelief." Ryan noted.

"Or not buying it." You added.

Alex crosses her arms, closes her eyes, and focuses on Steph's feelings. " You're... actually a little annoyed. You feel hurt that we didn't tell you until now. Whether it's true or not, you don't like being left out."

Steph takes a moment to consider that. "Well, okay..." After another moment of thought, she remembers...  "Oh shit! The foosball game! You knew exactly what to do."

"Yeah, sorry. Being around memories of Gabe was making you so sad. I wanted to help."

"You did! I'm just surprised. Never thought I'd have a freaky empath friend. Pretty wild."

"So, any sign of Diane today?" Vi asked.

ALex shook her head. "No. But she was in yesterday, working on her laptop."

"You said she was afraid of something around 's death. If she's covering up what did, I bet there's proof." You concluded.

"I hope so. If she comes in today, let's be ready with a plan. In the meantime, I've got to finish my shift."

"Me too."

"We're on it." Ryan said.

You and Alex get to work while Vi is discussing with Ryan and Steph. They were talking about who is going to be bait. But then Steph decided to ask Vi. "So, when will you and (N/n) make out, VI?"

"Huh?"

"Back in the closet when two people had to make out, you two seem like you two were having some beef."

Vi blinks. "Oh that. Uh....." She scratch her red hair. "I-I don't know. I sort of got into the music and.... She sort of freaked out. It's not her fault, though. I know she had a terrible relationship with Skywalker, but I think she's avoiding me to have any sort romantic interest that she might think that she doesn't deserve to be loved."

Steph nodded understanding. "Gotcha. "

"Uh...question. Who is this Skywalker?" Ryan asked.

"Anakin Skywalker, a very none good looking asshole fishing for women." Vi explains in distaste. "A toxic evil CEO like bastard who happens to be (Y/n)'s ex boyfriend who dumped her for a mistress. He had a misunderstanding that he accused (Y/n) for his missing mother years back. He was delusional and he believes that bitch over (Y/n), not even seeing the evidence with his own eyes."
