A017's POV
The CBI team had pinpointed the mafia's hideout: a secluded warehouse in Tuba, Benguet. Liezel, with her team of highly skilled agents, prepared for the raid. Tension crackled in the air as they assembled, knowing the danger that lay ahead. Unknown to them, the mafia had set traps—bombs and warning devices rigged to go off if intruders approached.
As the team advanced, their training and experience proved invaluable. They skillfully avoided the traps and disarmed the bombs, ensuring their safety as they closed in on the warehouse.
Inside, the scene was chaotic. The warehouse was dimly lit, shadows dancing on the walls. Liezel and her team quietly entered, their eyes scanning for any threats. Liezel's heart raced when she spotted Martina tied to a chair in the middle of the room. Beside her stood Rafaela and Rigo, their presence exuding menace.
Conversation:
Rafaela, with a cruel smile, waved a gun towards Martina and Liezel.
Rafaela: "Well, look who decided to drop in. I didn't expect the great Agent Alpha 017 to show up. How touching."Liezel's gaze was fixed on Rafaela, her voice steady despite the tension.
Liezel: "Rafaela, you're done. It's over. Let Martina go."Rafaela laughed, a harsh, mocking sound.
Rafaela: "Oh, please. Do you think you can just waltz in here and expect us to surrender? This is what happens when you interfere with my business."Rigo stepped closer, his voice dripping with menace.
Rigo: "You're too late. Our transactions were almost complete. Because of Martina, we're facing losses. She's been a thorn in our side."Liezel's eyes flashed with determination. Without warning, she pulled out her gun and fired a precise shot at Rigo, hitting him in the shoulder. Rigo staggered back, his gun falling to the floor.
Rafaela's face contorted in fury as she ducked for cover. Liezel didn't hesitate; she took aim and fired at Rafaela, the bullet grazing her arm. Rafaela cried out in pain, ducking behind a stack of crates.
With the immediate threat temporarily subdued, Liezel rushed to Martina, working quickly to untie her restraints.
Liezel: "Martina, run! Get to the back and find the other agents. I'll handle them."Martina, still shaken but trusting Liezel, scrambled towards the back exit. As she fled, Rafaela and Rigo, wounded and furious, took advantage of the confusion to retreat and regroup.
Liezel covered Martina's escape, keeping her eyes on Rafaela and Rigo's hiding spots. The warehouse echoed with the sounds of gunfire and shuffling as the two criminals tried to regroup.
As Martina made it to safety, Liezel faced Rafaela and Rigo, her voice steely and resolute.
Liezel: "Is this really the best you can do, Rafaela? Hiding behind threats and violence? You were never a match for the truth."Rafaela's face twisted in anger, her eyes blazing.
Rafaela: "You think you're so righteous, don't you? You'll find out soon enough what happens to those who cross me."Rigo, clutching his wounded shoulder, glared at Liezel.
Rigo: "We're not finished here. This is just the beginning."Liezel's heart pounded as she prepared for the final showdown, knowing that the fight was far from over. The warehouse was now a battleground of intense emotions and high stakes, and she was determined to see it through to the end.
