07:45Am, Vincent's apartment

Nobodys Pov:

Vincent and Rody had sat in silence the whole morning, Rody had a banging headache and couldn't care for talking. He didn't remember a thing from the night before and with the way Vincent was acting, being more quiet and blushing around him, constantly avoided his eyes; Rody knew something was wrong but didn't want to even know himself.

The two were heading out to La montée de Saturne to start their day of work. Vincent tried to convince Rody to stay off and get some rest but Rody was refusing to even consider it. Rody knew how much his body and head ached but.. he wanted to spend the day with Vincent, even if their chats were short lived as the restaurant is rather busy, it still made Rody feel warm inside and excited for work.

The two walked in silence, Rody kept close by Vincent as he usually done, but Vincent seemed more tense and out of things. Rody looked at Vincent, he opened his mouth to ask what was wrong but he was cut off by Vincent rushing to the door of the restaurant and heading inside before Rody could even begin his question.

'Weird..' Rody thought to himself as he followed inside. Vincent was already gone and Rody assumed he was now in the kitchen or office. Rody wanted to go follow after him but he knew customers would be appearing soon, he'll ask on his break.

3:30pm, On Rodys Break

Rodys Pov:

It was finally my break and the restaurant was closed for the time, I only get 30 minutes, and those 30 minutes are gonna be spent with Vincent as they always are.

I headed into the kitchen to see all the chefs eating their lunch and talking with one another, I noticed Vincent wasn't in the room and I turned to his office, heading inside. I found him smoking a feg and filling out some papers.

I smiled softly seeing him, he looked better than he did this morning. I walked over to him and sat down in the chair infront of him. I poked at his head and chuckled. "What are ya up to Vince?" I asked. He didn't give a response, just looked at me before looking back at his papers.

Weird..

"Vincent what's wrong? You've been acting weird all morning and day. Did something happen last night? Did I do something wrong?" I asked, I was genuinely starting to worry. Did I do something wrong to him? Was he mad at me? I don't know what I could've done to receive this silent treatment but it was annoying me.

Vincent sighed annoyingly and looked up at me, his eyes looked like they were being forced to even look at me.

I stared at him confused, I didn't know what to say to him. He hadn't responded and all he appeared to do what just stare at me.

Time seemed to move slowly as Vincent opened his mouth but nothing came out. Vincent was a man who was never afraid to speak his mind or even hesitate to say a word, yet here he was, struggling to even look at me never mind speak to me.

After what seemed like forever, he finally spoke, "You.. said something last night. Its been on my mind all day, and I'm not too sure how to take it. I'm sure it was just the alcohol talking but it truly is bothering me Rody." He continued

"You had, said that you liked me, you mentioned how you were afraid to tell me incase I didn't like you back. Surely you can understand why I've been so worked up."

A blush crossed his face as he spoke and a rush of embarrassment and worry filled my body. I felt my face heat up as I began to play with my shirt and keep my head low. Did I really say all that? What was I thinking? God. I'm definitely getting fires for this. He has to hate me now, imagine being told such a thing by your friend..
