Jin pov:

The sun was beginning to set, casting a warm golden hue over the park. I sat on the swing, legs stretching out in front of me, the light breeze playing with my hair. J-Hope was standing off to the side, his energetic presence palpable as he snapped pictures of me on his phone, living up to his nickname as our group's unofficial photographer.

"Kookie would love this angle!" he said, tilting the phone to capture my best side. I chuckled and pushed off the ground, swinging back and forth, feeling a carefree rush.

"J-Hope, you're supposed to be taking candid shots!" I protested, but he just beamed at me, unbothered.

"Exactly! I'm capturing the essence of my beautiful friend," he replied, his eyes sparkling.

Rolling my eyes, I couldn't help but smile. I loved how J-Hope could make any moment feel special. But my mind kept drifting to another person, a certain guy who had wormed his way into my heart without me even realizing it. Namjoon.

Just then, I spotted him approaching, his tall figure effortlessly cutting through the fading sunlight. My heart skipped a beat. He was wearing a simple white shirt and jeans, but he carried himself with an allure that made him stand out. As he walked closer, a gentle smile appeared on his face, and I felt my cheeks warm.

"Hey, Jin! Hope!" Namjoon greeted us, his voice deep and soothing. He was always so easy to talk to, but there was something about today that made my stomach flutter. I wiped my sweaty palms on my jeans, hoping Namjoon wouldn't notice my sudden anxiety.

"Hey, Namjoon!" I managed to say, swinging a little higher. "What are you doing here?"

"I was just out for a walk, thought I'd stop by. You both look like you're having fun," he nodded towards J-Hope, who was still busy capturing the perfect shot.

"Oh, you know it! Just making Jin look good," J-Hope replied with a cheeky grin. I shot him a playful glare, but deep down, I appreciated the effort.

"Come swing with us," I said, patting the empty swing beside me. Namjoon chuckled lightly, glancing over at J-Hope who gave him a thumbs up.

"Okay, but no photos of me being a dork," he warned playfully as he took a seat next to me.

The swings creaked as we began to sway back and forth, the rhythmic motion bringing back fond memories of our childhood. I glanced at Namjoon, and for a moment, the world around us faded. He looked content, his hair catching the soft sunset light, and I felt that familiar flutter in my chest.

"Do you guys have any exciting plans for the weekend?" Namjoon asked, breaking the comfortable silence.

J-Hope chimed in. "We were thinking of a movie marathon, right Jin?"

"Uh, yeah. I mean, if you want to join us, Namjoon," I added, trying to sound casual. "You'd be more than welcome."

Namjoon's eyes lit up, a smile spreading across his face. "I'd love that! I haven't had a good movie night in ages."

My heart soared at the thought of spending more time with him. "Great! I'll make popcorn."

"I'll bring the candy!" J-Hope exclaimed, bouncing on his swing like a kid, and I couldn't help but laugh.

We continued swinging, the sun slowly descending, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink. I turned to Namjoon, a silly grin on my face. "You know, I used to think swings were just for kids, but this is actually really fun."

He chuckled, and the sound sent sparks of warmth through me. "It's all about enjoying the little things, right?"

"Yeah." I paused, taking a deep breath. "Sometimes the little things mean the most."

Namjoon met my gaze, and for a fleeting moment, the atmosphere shifted. The air felt electric, and I couldn't help but wonder if he felt the same way. Could he see how much I admired him? How much I wanted to be closer, not just in friendship, but in something deeper?

In that moment of vulnerability, I leaned a little closer on the swing, our shoulders brushing against each other. He didn't pull away. Instead, he smiled, and my heart raced.

"Jin?" he asked, and I turned to meet his gaze.

"Yeah?"

"I'm really glad I came by today," he said softly, and I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Me too," I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, I knew whatever happened next, we were both heading towards something beautiful. And whether it was a movie night or just time spent with a friend, it felt like a step toward the warmth I desired-the warmth of being a little closer to Namjoon.
