Leo's POV (because Leo is awesome and the story follows her)/ / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
I open my big green eyes and open my mouth containing sharp, inhuman teeth in a yawn. I stretch my arms out and smile as my body finds its way into a downward dog position; while I stretch my legs as I do every day. This is nothing new to me; and as I conclude my basic wake-up routine, I almost forget that almost every aspect of my life is now different from what it was so recently ago.
Almost.
I look around to study the room I only had the chance to see very briefly before falling to sleep late last night.
This is definitely gonna take some getting used to..
I now seem to live in a very large golden bedroom, laced with soft purple and silver accents. The room has a very neat arrangement of multi-colored furniture; which include sofas, love seats, chairs of all shapes, sizes, colors, and styles, rugs, tables, and many more things that I most likely will never use. Scratching posts and things to climb on litter much of the free space on the walls and what it wasn't covering was taken up by pictures and mirrors.
"Well, it truly is a lions paradise!", I mock with little enthusiasm since none of it is really anything like me; it's more of a slap to be perfectly honest.
I rub my eyes sleepily and throw my legs over the side of my bed that's mounted high on the wall. I breathe in deeply and fall off the side without so much as a squeak. I land on all fours, completely fine, as always. I stand back up and crack my stiff back and twist and turn to loosen my body up. I let out a relaxed sigh and with a smile, I bound over to my mirror to look at myself: a purple tank-top attempts to cover my torso but a strap still escapes to below my shoulder, my familiar, short, golden brown hair rests on my shoulders, and I find my big green eyes staring back at me.
I wiggle my cat ears and look behind my back to see my tail. "Ah-ha! still there! And beautiful! As always!", I brag to myself.
I then go to my closet and trade out my night clothes for something that I was given last night. I'm told they're my 'signature outfit'. Whatever that's supposed to mean. It didn't really match, but most things I wear don't because I don't care for how I dress all that much since everything people need to see is above my shoulders; and that part's already perfect.
The top was a purple/pinkish colored corset with a short tan colored jacket that had my name written on a patch placed on my right sleeve. Or rather, my new name: Leo. The bottoms were nothing too exciting, shorts that went about three quarters up my thighs, with basic socks and a converse style of shoes on my feet. I take another look at my reflection, silently compliment myself, and skip down the stairs.
"Do-da-do-da-do-da-do-do-do!" I say as I walk down the hall to meet my new , 11 house mates. I didn't get the chance to meet everybody last night since it was so late and all I wanted to do was sleep, but today I'm energized and ready to mingle.
"Hello everybody! I'm awake!!!", I say with a bright smile to the living room of 2 of the 11 people who now live with me.
they were both males, but they looked completely different to each other. One seemed almost emo in appearance; he was dressed in a black leather jacket with small metal pieces on various parts of it, with a basic white shirt underneath, and black pants. His longish, black hair was covering one of his eyes, and red highlights were visible throughout it. The other was dressed in cream colored clothing and had a stylish coat o over a black shirt. On his head her four little horns and ahead of multi-tone hair that ascended in darkness as it went further down his head starting from white and all the way down to black with brown somewhere in the middle. " You don't have to announce it to us you know? We do have ears, not to mention that we knew you were up whenever the silence was gone.", the first one scoffs.
