Leo's POV / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /
I run up to my room with unneeded tears in my eyes. I relentlessly wipe them away, but they persevere against my will. I slam the door shut and just stand there for a moment, wondering how to react to this situation.Am I angry? Am I sad? Am I depressed? Yes, yes I am all these things.
I throw myself onto the golden floor and cry.
It's not even that they spied on me, it's that they lied about it! I trusted them and they betrayed me! Why? Did I do something? Did I make them uncomfortable? I don't know! I don't even know....
I weep into the carpet, feeling weak and touchy. But a serge of anger rips through my entire being.
I hate them! Why would they do that? Don't they have better things to f*cking do than to spy on me? I know I'm so much more interesting than they are but you don't lie to me! NOBODY. LIES. TO. ME!
I grip the fibers in my fingers in rage. But, as I let go, the will to be angry leaves my body and I feel empty. Well, empty and sad. I try to take a deep breath as the tears flow down my blotchy cheeks. I look up at any thing that catches my eye : my bed, my closet, my posts, my window. Anything to attempt to take my mind off of this.
Wait.... window? C-Could I actually get on the roof?
I rub my eyes and roll over and get onto my knees. I observe the window : it looks accessible. I get up slowly, my vision still fuzzy from crying so violently. I slink over to the window and look : there seems to be a platform that I could get on to, go to other parts of the roof.
I open the window and let the warm breeze blow onto my skin. I breathe in deep and open my eyes. I'm still really mad, but nobodys around, so its okay to calm down just a bit. I drape my feet over the seal and lower myself down onto the roof. I plant my feet on the shingles and look around : platforms and places to get up to... Everywhere. My eyes grow into saucers and I hug the wall over to a place where I can freely stand. I crawl up a little platform up to a flat area that's big enough for about 4 people at best. I sit down and just... Breathe. I breathe in the warm air that feels so good in my lungs. I sigh. Salty tears drip down my cheeks. I let them rest on my skin.
I still can't believe they lied to me...
More tears come. "How'd you get all the way up there?", a voice asks. My eyes go wide and I look around. It's.... Sagittarius?
" What are you doing here?", I growl, trying to wipe away my tears. "Uh... Aries wanted me to check on you.", he says akwardly. I scoff. " He couldn't have gotten off his butt to do it himself?", I growl. He looks away. "I don't know...", he mumbles.
LIE!!
"Ha! Biggest load of sh*t I've ever heard! You wanted to check on me on your own didn't you?", I ask with a smile. He looks away. " Whatever...", he mutters. "Oh uh... How'd you know where I was?", I ask him from up on my perch. " your window was open.", he smirks. "Oh, so you just went into my room? You're such a perv!", I snicker. " You wanted Taurus?", he asks. "No! No! Not at all!", I giggle. "That's what I thought.", he smirks.
" Well get up here then.", I sigh. " Huh?", he asks, all of the laugher in his voice vanishing. " You got this far. Get up here. Come sit with me.", I smile. " Okay then.", he says and swiftly exits the window. He stands with his arms out for balance and slowly crosses the roof. He pulls himself up onto panel after panel and finally gets up to me.
I cross my legs. " So, what's goin' on down there?", I ask with a small smile creeping from the corners of my lips. He smiles. " It's hilarious! Virgo and Capricorn are telling people off, Pisces , Libra and Aries are trying to keep peace , and the rest are just making the thing funny. Especially Gemini, he's passing out insults right and left. ", he says happily. " That sounds fun!", I laugh.
Then we hear shouts and crashes from below us. He laughs. " And there goes the table. ", he smiles. " You're pretty funny for someone so detached.", I say earnestly. "Sure. I'm funny.", he says sarcastically. I just shrug and look out at the view.
" And I'm sorry that I spied on you. I mean it actually wasn't entertaining.", he appolagizes. I scoff. " Oh. So my love life isn't interesting enough for you?", I tease. " Oh! I thought Intamisy ment not a thing to you, yet here you are calling a peck on the cheek a love life.", he scoffs, his cheeks slightly pink.
An alarm goes off in my head and a smirk goes on my face. " Are you... jealous?", I prod. He rolls his eyes and scoffs, but his cheeks go a darker shade of pink. " As if.", he defends. I laugh. " Your face is pink! I know you are!", I giggle, lightly shoving him on the side. " I'm not. I'm pretty sure cats can't read minds.", he scoffs. " And I'm pretty sure the Archer can't tell a lie!", I say in a sing sing voice. He doesn't say anything and I smile.
I put my hands on his shoulders and he just slowly shakes his head. " Aw! Its okay. I'm not in a relationship right now. You can chase me all you want!", I giggle. " Stop it.", he whines, and tries to get my hands off of him. " Nu-uh!! You can't make me!", I tease. " Yes I can!", he says and grabs my leg. I let go of him " Is everyone here perverts?", I whine. He lets go immediately and looks down. " I-I'm sorry-" "SNEAK ATTACK!!" , I scream and tackle him to the next platform down.
I pin him to the shingles. " Got ya!", I laugh. " That was a dirty trick Leo!", he scolds. " Hey! You can't blame me!! You. Just. Said it! Intamisy doesn't bother me, so why would you grabbing my leg do anything? If anything, it excited me!", I explain. "Well now I know just what makes you tick!", he laughs. " Oh well. All the more reason for you to chase me!", I giggle. Then I get off of him and he sits up. " So you good now? You ready to go see the hilarity downstairs?", he smiles. " Yeah!", I squeal and jump down.
I must have been a bit too excited and I scream as I slip off the edge of the roof. I cling to the gutter for dear life as I look down at the 3 stories of space that I could fall to in a mere moment. I breathe heavily as my hands start to sweat and it's hard to keep a grip. I see a figure in front of my vision and I beg for help. " Okay, sheech! You'd think you were in a life or death situation.", he grins. I sigh. " J-Just lemme go. I'll land on my feet anyways.", I say shakily, doubtful of even my ability to survive this fall. He looks shocked. " Oh come on! What kind of a person would I be if I didn't help you up?", he laughs and takes my hand. I close my eyes as Sagittarius quickly pulls me up. As my feet touch something solid, I latch onto whatever I can get my hands on: in this case? It's Sagittarius.
I burrow my face into the crook of his neck and grip his shirt tightly in my fingers. " Uh... Leo?", He asks akwardly. "Please take me back inside Sagi.", I whisper. " Heh, sure.", he says smugly.
I bet he thinks he's got me 'round his finger huh? Nope! Heh, you're never really safe with me. And I'm really scared right now anyway!
He gets back in my room and shuts the window and it clicks as he locks it. Then he just stands there and taps his foot. "Leo? You a-uh gonna get off of me now?", he asks in a slightly irritated voice. " No.", I answer starkly. " Well what am I supposed to do?! Carry you down?!", he whines sarcastically. " Yes.", I answer with a small smile that nobody can see. He groans and I giggle. " Whatever...", he mumbles and walks out of the room and down the stairs. I still remain clinging to his body with my arms around his neck and my legs wrapped around his waist. I feel him start down the stairs and into the chaos that will be lovely entertainment. Especially for someone who just fell off the roof!
