Leo's POV//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
My feet seem to move on their own, slapping the stairs as they go to the next while my eyes burn with rage. I jump the last 6 stairs onto the ground and turn on my heel to waste absolutely no time rounding the corner. "I'M GONNA WRECK YOU!", I screech. I hear laughter behind me and I quickly turn around back towards the stairs. "Goddammit! Can't you keep your mind outta the gutter for one second?!", Gemini scolds. I race to the stair case and watch in utter bliss as the color drains from both of their faces. I raise my hand back behind my head as they both wince and squeeze their eyes shut. I bring it down.
In a cruel twist of fate on my part I barley touch both of them and they look up at me with a questioning expression. I grin. "Oh whaaat? You didn't really think I was gonna do something that lame did you? Trust me, you'll both get your turn, I just have to think of something good first.", I laugh, a menacing look in my eyes as I speak.
Then, it was quite odd. Not awkward by any means, but odd due to the fact that we all hear shouts coming from outside. Now, it was really odd when we all simultaneously realize that we were completely alone in the house by face palming, all at the same time. I nod to the window and back to Gemini, and in response he nods in agreement as we start towards it, while David hints toward the fact that he's much to fabulous for plain old walking and decides to cartwheel over to our destination instead. I stop and smile at him. "Man you're really showing off for us now, huh?", I giggle and continue walking. "Nope. I'm always like this.", he answers without stopping his gymnastics. I tilt my head but don't stop walking. "There's something I've figured out in life that I'm always going to live by.", David starts and now Gemini is also interested in our conversation. "Oh? And what's that?", I ask. "No matter what you do in life, you must always be hot or cold. You can be in or out, but not in between, or else it's just wasted. So why not be hottest goddamn hot chocolate in the barrel?", He says, his statement sounding entirely genuine in all that it was. "Yeah, I guess you're right about that.", I nod in agreement.
As we neared the window and came to a stop, I open the window and peak out while the boys follow suit on the sides. I see a few people outside: there's Aries, and Teo, but the others are either not out there or not in view, and I'm pretty sure we're alone. However, as I look closer, I see a pool with three people in it: Li, Scorpio, and Aquarius. "What are they doing?", I ask, seemingly to anyone in the room who would be able to answer me. "Oh I remember this from yesterday. I was knocked out and everyone was talking about adaptations or whatever and then they started talking about the games. Aries mentioned something about water and Aquarius freaked out and admitted that he couldn't swim; naturally the others jumped in and are dead set on teaching him. Then I think they forgot that Pisces didn't share his side of the adaptations topic and then you came downstairs. I frown. "How do you know that? I thought you were knocked out when I came down.", I explain my confusion. "Okay well I wasn't knocked out.", he states without turning to look at my face while he speaks. I wrinkle my nose. "That makes no sense, how could you-oooohhhhh...", I say, getting how this trick was preformed. He grins at me. "Uh-huh."
I Get out of the window and turn back towards David, who was blowing on the window and drawing dicks in the fog. "Hey, you never really told us much about that dude who can in here with you.", I point out, sitting on the windowsill and ready for information. "Oh yeah. I guess I did forget! Anyways, I was talking to him a bit and found out that he's here for that Cancer chick.", he says, giving us a small detail that seems irrelevant but completely blows my mind as he puts a little smiley face on his art. "Wait, Candy? I've never heard her talk about a boy back home before...", I whisper, my hand to my chin in a thinking manner. To tell you the truth this worried me slightly. It only reminded me of how absurd this entire situation was. Not just people visiting, but the whole house in general. How I really haven't known these people for barely a month. How I really don't know my best friend at all, yet I call her my friend. I don't know why I had thought these morbid thoughts, or why I even thought anything of it at all. "Hey.", Gemini's concerned voice brings me back to reality. "Oh hm?",I ask, looking up, as I'm thrown back into the conversation. "You okay? Somethin' wrong?", he asks, a worried look on his face. "Oh, yeah, of course! Just a headache is all.", I half lie. While it was true I had a head ache, it wasn't the most troubling thing I had had on my mind. However, now that I said that, my headache starts to rage just as it had when I had woke up. Karma is a cruel mistress.
