Leo's POV / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / //
I'm struck with wonder at the room. Apparently the heads don't have the biggest rooms, because I'm pretty sure that this one is the biggest! It's literally twice as big as what I would expect a normal room to be, and I'm pretty sure that the reason why is obvious. Each half of the room was a mirror image of the other. The room was mostly green. It also had two levels to the room with stair cases on either side of room, right in between the beds and the walls. On the second level that covers one fourth of the room, was a beautiful stain glass window that depicted the split personality. I think the window leads out to a balcony.
" What are you doing in here?", a sad, tear-choked voice asks from somewhere in the room.
My face goes hot and I realize that I shouldn't be in here! Its a guys room! I have no business being in here! That reality starts to sink in and Yet? I don't care.
" I-I just wanted to know if you're okay.", I answer sheepishly. " W-Who....who are you?", he asks from his hidden spot.
That's right. He doesn't really know me, he's only heard my voice once.
" It's Leo. I think I'm your next door neighbor!", I say, peaking out the door just to make sure that my room is indeed next door. I see his head poke out from under one of the stair cases. As soon as he sees me, his face goes red and he darts right back out of view. I laugh a little bit at his shyness. " Hey! I know I didn't brush my hair this morning but I didn't think I look that bad!", I tease. " Why did you come here?", he asks, getting straight to the point. " Like I said before, I wanted to see if you're okay. The others didn't look too happy after that meeting.", I say. " Yeah...", he mumbles softly. I know positively what this was about, just as I had thought before. " Hey!", I say as I walk over to the staircase that he's under. I peak under to see him huddled under it, staring at me. "Found you! You're not very good at keeping a hiding place are you?", I ask in a light tone, trying to seem approachable. After no response, I sit down next to him. At this, he looks embarrassed and scoots away from me, trying not to face me.
Okay then...
" So, are you okay?", I ask him softly. He nods silently. I feel like I'm not getting anywhere and I sigh. " Come on! If you're gonna lie to me, at least make it believable!", I whine, with a scowl, slightly disappointed that he doesn't take me seriously. He looks up at me. " S-Sorry.", he apologizes. My scowl melts away and I smile. He gives in and turns to face me. His hair is wet with tears and his eyes are red and puffy. " I'm actually not alright. I've already made people hate me on the first day!", he says sadly, a tear drops from his sad eyes. I laugh. " It's okay! I have too.", I say honestly. He looks shocked. " You have?", he asks. " Pft, have you met me? Of course! Scorpio hates me, Capricorn hates me, I don't like Taurus... He's weird.", I say. I look over at him; he's.... smiling.
Did I actually get him to smile?! Awesome!!
" There's that smile!!", I grin. "Yeah, yeah there's a smile.", he admits, wiping his face with his sleeve. "See, I knew you weren't a bad person!", I say. He looks surprised. " No you don't....", he trails off. I cock my head. " B-but-" "Just because I'm nice to you now, and just because that...that was my other personality, doesn't mean that was a different person. Leo, that was still me.", he says, avoiding my gaze again. I'm taken aback by this. " I'm not a good person.", he whispers. I ponder this:
Maybe he isn't? Well So what? He's fine right now, and it's as good as another person since he can't control it. So honestly? I don't care.
