Girsha's POV
After a 5 hour trip in Fleafiara's flying carriage, we made it to the estate. I was wearing a suit which fit perfectly and Leora wore the blue dress, it looked so beautiful on her. She also wore a string of pearls and golden earrings and carried her staff in her left hand. I took out my hoop for tonight and left it at home since it didn't fit the dress code.
Mushy sat in Leora's purse during the carriage ride and would probably stay there most of the night. We pulled up at the entrance, and I went to get out of the carriage, but Leora stopped me and took my hand, "Can I?" She said as she held my ring. She took it off my finger and placed it on her own. It was huge on her, so she said the spell, which makes clothes fit the wearer, and it shrank down. "When I take it off, it will fit you again." Leora said before kissing my lips. "Why do you want to wear it?" I asked, staring at my ring on her finger. "I want to introduce you as my fiancé. Is that okay?" Leora asked a little nervous. I nodded and kissed her again. "Of course, my love."
We then stepped out of the carriage and walked arm in arm through the doors, up a large staircase and into a room with a bunch of people dancing around. Fleafiara stopped at the top of the stairs, and an announcer hit the floor with his banner stick, which stopped the music and the dancing. "Announcing Madam Fleafiara Fairy Teacher." Everyone looked up to see Fleafiara as she descended the stairs. She then joined the lookers who looked at Leora and me. "Grand Mage, Leora of Fleafiara's and her fiancé Girsha Iron-Skin." The announcer said. I heard a few gaps as we made our way down the stairs and joined Fleafiara. The announcer hit the stick again, and the music continued, and so did the dancing.
We moved to the wall and I looked to Leora. "You didn't tell me we would be announced." I whispered to Leora. "Everyone will want to know we are hear Girsha, if I had told you, you would have panicked. But you did that amazingly." Leora said before kissing my cheek.
"Ah, Fleafiara and Grand Mage, Leora! How are you!" A man dressed in expensive looking clothes said before hugging Leora. She hugged him back and said. "Ezin... or should I say your grace... I am well. You must be on cloud nine." Ezin laughed and said. "If you must, but please don't feel obligated too, Leora... though did I hear correctly? You are engaged?" Ezin shot his eyes between me and Leora. She touched my back, gently reminding me to shake his hand. I held out mine and said.
"Girsha Iron-Skin, it is a pleasure to meet you, your grace." Ezin smiled and shook my hand. "The pleasure is all mine. Anyone able to ensnare THE Leora has my respect. Fleafiara? Do you remember how many people Leora used to have to fight off during school? She refused to let anything get in the way of her studies. And then, from what I heard, you became quiet the charmer Leora. You had men and women falling at your feet since Diri and you broke up."
I looked to Leora, confused she had never mentioned a Diri before. "She was the first person I dated..." Leora said to me, looking a little uncomfortable. "...but that was a long time ago." She continued happily. Fleafiara smiled. "Ah, here is the Dutchess I wanted you to meet." She took the Dutchess by her hand and said. "Hello dear one, how have you been?" The Dutchess smiled. "I am wonderful thankyou Madam Fleafiara." Fleafiara smiled, and Ezin took her by the hip. "Yes, Leora, meet my wife, Dutchess Phillippa of Dengok."
Leora bowed to the Dutchess as did I and said. "Hello, your grace. It is a pleasure to meet you." The Dutchess smiled."It is a pleasure to meet you too, Grand Mage, I have heard so much about your magic from my husband. You must have gone on many adventures." Leora nodded. "Indeed, your grace, I would travel anywhere to learn more magic." Ezin smiled and nodded his head. "Yes... tell me, do you still plan to travel after the wedding?" Leora nodded her head. "We do wish to travel some more, but not to learn more magic, not until we are settled, an Orc engagement takes a year. They are incredible and so full of culture Ezin."
