"Well, I feel like if that's what she must do to clear her name than so be it. Although I do admit I set her up for this date." Elodie sucks her teeth. She softly chuckles before speaking again. "Now that we actually speak about this topic I guess I find it understandable, for one, but I'm conflicted."

"I don't care if anyone accuses me of anything. I'll end it all with both of them if you'd like." I scoff.

"I well care, so no. Let it be, alright?" Elodie says, looking me in my eyes. Her with this immense eye contact is going to end me.  My eyes flicker from her lips to her eyes with a smile on my face.

"I'm not sure why." I say, getting closer to her face. I lift my head up just a bit and I see her grin.

"Because I care about you. Is that so bad?" She asks I see her still looking at my eyes. "And honestly, I thrive knowing you choose me." She whispers in my ear. I see her pearly whites from the corner of my eye.

"Alright you two, stop before you have to wipe more of each others lipstick off. It's dinner time and Loraline needs to eat." Vera announced. Elodie gets up and fixes her dress. Without saying a word she walks off to the kitchen and gets started on dinner. I get up but for a different reason.

"May you be a dear and let El know I'm not hungry and I'll be upstairs in the shower?" I smile, trying to be as polite as possible. Vera lightly nods and returns the smile.

I head upstairs and take a left. This hall way felt a mile long, it also dim, the only light that was shining through was from a window. Sadly it wasn't much of anything but considering it was almost 18'o clock, it was understandable. I walk down the hall and take another left to make it to the room I'll be staying in for the night.

After I walk in I close the door behind me and quickly rip everything I had off. I head straight for the bathroom and turn on the shower. I wait until it's the perfect temperature before I hop in.

Only thirty-four minutes pass before I'm done with my shower. I wrap my towel around me and head back to the room. I grab a nightgown and undergarments. I get dressed but throw my nightgown on the bed not finding the need for it at this very moment. That's when I hear a knock at the door, I quickly gut under the sheets to hide myself.

"Come in."

The door slowly opens before I see a hand. Elodie walks in and closes the door behind her. I still hold the sheet up.

"Vera told me you weren't hungry. I still wanted to let you know it was done." She announces, walking to the my side of the bed. I move my legs and she sits down. I notice her eyes fall to my hands which are holding up the sheet.

"What were you doing?" She ask, her eyes narrowed as one eyebrow rose.

"Oh, uh- nothing."

She moves the sheets down slowly, giving me a chance to pull it back but I don't. She looks at me with a confused look before nodding slowly. A grin slowly spreads across her face as she leisurely looked up to my eyes.

"Need help?" She asks, laying me on my back and getting on top of me. I had no idea what she meant until it hit me. My face was flushed. I cover can't bare to look at her right now.

"I told you, I was doing nothing. So that means I wasn't doing that." I explain. She threw a look at me. A look that made me feeble. She eyes were thin but the blue still managed to shine through. A sliver of her teeth was shown. Her hair was still up but some strands fell loose making her look even better.
