Mudsdale Ride (Takenshipping)

A fluffy Takenshipping oneshot where Hapu takes Lillie on a Mudsdale ride down to the Ruins of Hope to ask her out...

Hapu's POV:

One day when I couldn't really find anything do, all I could think of was Lillie. Her beautiful blonde hair, her politeness and kindness towards others and just everything about her.

Every time I see her, I worship her like a goddess. I just admire her so much and that day, I wanted to see her again.

I couldn't really think of how I could tell her about this straight away as there is very limited wifi in Poni Island, so I decided to walk down to the Ruins of Hope. I told my desires to Tapu Fini and then told them to pass them on to Tapu Koko, and then to Lillie. They nodded and then I had to wait patiently for her to arrive.

A few hours later, I saw a figure walking up the path to my house. It took me only until a few seconds that it was Lillie and then I ran down to her.

"Hiya Lillie, it's great to see you!" I greeted her.

"Hello Hapu!" She replied, smiling sweetly.

My heart then skipped a beat...

"So, what are we doing today?" She asked.

"Well, I think it would be nice if we ride on my Mudsdale around Poni Island, I have something to show you!" I explained.

She nodded and then I walked off to get my partner. I got onto Mudsdale's back and then rode it over to her.

When I held my hand out, she felt flustered at first, but then she took a deep breath and let me help her up. She got up and then once we started riding, she hugged into my back, making me blush too.

So with that, we rode down the hill. Lillie had been to Poni Island before, but she was still just in as much awe she looked around.

Soon enough, we then arrive outside of the Ruins of Hope.

"Is this the Ruins of Hope?" She asked as I helped her off Mudsdale

"Yes it is!" I replied as we both walked inside.

When we got inside, I took a deep breath and turned towards her.

"Lillie, there is something I have to tell you," I announced.

She nodded and then put her full attention towards me.

"Ever since the first time we met, I've always admired you. You're so clever, so kind and so pretty too and I've always seen you as a goddess," I said.

I could spot a blush creeping on her face as I paused so I continued.

"I know we don't really see each other too often but, I really enjoyed today and maybe we can do this more often if you let me," I added, and then got to the point, " Lillie, I love you!"

"I l-love you too!" She stuttered.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked.

"Yes!" She responded.

With that, Tapu Fini appeared. We both kissed and then they surrounded us with sacred water, blessing us to have a happy and healthy relationship.

Once we were done, I thanked Tapu Fini and we then both rode back up to my house. I kissed her goodbye and gave her Poni radishes and then watched as she left. I'm so glad today went as planned!
