All I Have Ever Really Wanted (Gothgfshipping)

A fluffy Gothgfshipping oneshot where Hloria decides to take Marnie on a date. Marnie always tries to act cold but with all the nice things her girlfriend was doing for her, she couldn't help but smile, for real

Also I can't really be bothered to write out Gloria's thoughts and stuff in that stereotypical Scottish accent so if you could just read her point of view in a Scottish accent that would be great.

Gloria's POV:

One day after I became champion of Galar, I found that I didn't really have much to do. I decided to text Marnie and she said she wasn't busy either so we decided to organise a date.

It was a suprise but I told her that we did have to meet at Stow-on-Side to get there. So with that, I left the house, got on a flying taxi and then made my way over there.

I led against the wall of the Pokémon Center once I got there as I waited for my girlfriend. I've been dating her for a few months ever since I beat Piers in a gym battle and I know for a fact that she's never late for anything on purpose, but it was confusing as Spikemuth is much closer to Stow-on-Side then I am from Postwick.

Finally after a little more waiting, she arrived.

"Sorry I'm late, the Team Yell grunts would just not leave me alone and they kept on cheering me on to have the best date ever," Marnie explained and sighed.

"It's fine, I'm just glad you're here!" I replied.

We both held hands and then walked through the bustling and busy market.

"So are we here to buy things from the market?" She asked.

"No, but we can if you want!" I said.

I then ran over to the empty market stool that contained lots of instruments. I bought some maracas and then started shaking them.

And then I started to dance for her. At first she was about to laugh because of how stupid I was being, but as soon as the Maractus running the stools started to clap for me and everyone started staring at me, her face then went red with embarrassment.

She walked off and then I had to quickly put the maracas in my backpack and catch up with her.

"I'm so sorry!" I apologised.

"I'm fine, let's just keep on going," Marnie replied.

I led the way and then we entered Glimwood Tangle.

"So this is Glimwood Tangle?" She asked.

"Yes, didn't you get your Grimmsnarl from here?" I questioned.

"Actually Piers went and caught if for me back when it was an Impidimp because I was ill and I really wanted one," My girlfriend explained.

"Oh wow!" I gasped.

Marnie decided to sit down on a tree stump while I started hanging out with tye pokémon. I helped comb the Galarian Ponyta's hair, I fed berries to the Phantumps and I even play fighted with the Impidimp there.

When I walked back over to my girlfriend, covered in berry juice, I found her smiling. Not by holding her mouth up like she did in the hotel, she was actually smiling. I started to blush.

"You're actually smiling!" I exclaimed.

"I guess I am..." She hadn't even realised it.

I launched myself at her and gave her a hug as I frantically started kissing her on the cheek.

"Woah, what's the big deal?!" She asked.

"That's all I've ever wanted to see you do," I replied.
