This is an angsty and fluffy one-sided Amourshipping oneshot with sides of Firstfriendshipping and Dreamgirlshipping where Serena visits Ash to confess to him but only to find he has an obvious crush on Goh...

(I couldn't fit Firstfriendshipping and Dreamgirlshipping into the title because you can only have a maximum of 80 characters) T_T

Serena's POV:

I love Ash so much and I've just been dying to see him for ages, especially since I've grown so much since I last saw him. So with thus extreme urge, I decided to fly over to Kanto.

When I got there and arrived at Cerise Laboratory, I immediately pulled Ash into a hug and I started to travel around with him and his friend Goh.

But something I quickly realised as I travelled around with them is how close Ash and Goh actually are. They were constantly hand holding, blushing and any time I would try to get involved I would be singaled out and treated like a third-wheel.

Maybe this wasn't going to work...

But no, I couldn't let myself give up yet! I continued to get in the way and be annoying for attention. On one of those days, I was planning to pull Ash to the side and confess to him, but it ended up happening the other way around.

"Serena, you're acting very strange, what's up?" He asked.

"Well the thing is, I love you Ash, will you be my boyfriend?" I questioned.

He sighed and then replied, "I'm sorry but I'm already in love with Goh!"

"Well what am I supposed to do now?!" I exclaimed, "I came all the way out here for nothing!"

"You'll find the right person," Ash reassured me, "It just isn't me!"

With that, he walked back over to Goh and shared his first kiss with him. I sighed and then walked back to the airport to go back to Hoenn.

When I arrived back at Lilycove City, it was a cold, rainy night. I hadn't been expecting this and I didn't have a coat or anything to cover up. I wanted to run, but I was just too stuck in my thoughts.

But suddenly, I saw an umbrella open up. I looked up to see that under that was Lisia, one of my greatest rivals in the field of Pokémon Contests. She ran over to me and took my hand to pull me under the umbrella.

"Hey Serena, I missed you so much!" Lisia exclaimed.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Yeah!" She replied, "And I was thinking, since we're both strong performers, do you want to form a duo with me?"

Everything was happening so fast. First she pulled me into a hug under the umbrella and now she was asking to form a duo with me, almost like asking me out. I was blushing so much.

"Y-yes please!" I answered, beaming at her.

After that, we walked through the rain under the umbrella, holding hands as we did so. Maybe Ash was right, maybe she is the one...
