Tensions were running high as the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting long shadows over the cabin where the Levi Squad had gathered. The weight of the recent decisions made in the meeting hung heavy in the air, especially concerning Historia's fate.

"WHAT?!"

The collective outcry from the squad echoed through the cabin, each member grappling with a mix of shock, frustration, and concern.

Seated among them, you found solace in braiding Sasha's hair, fingers deftly weaving through the strands as you tried to process your emotions.

"I know! I don't want Historia to be used y'know?! She has a life too!" Your voice cracked with emotion, a mixture of anger and annoyance.

"Look, I get that this' 'Hizuru' brings a lot of opportunities for Paradis, and I appreciate it, but I just feel like it isn't getting anywhere," you confessed, the words tumbling out in a rush as you struggled to articulate your thoughts and feelings.

Your comrades nodded in understanding, their expressions reflecting the turmoil within. "But it was Historia's choice whatsoever. I just hate to see her suffer," you murmured, your voice barely above a whisper as you continued to braid Sasha's hair, seeking comfort in the simple act amidst the chaos of uncertainty.

"She is the queen after all, there's a lot of life under her hands." Sasha steps up, lifting her head regarding what you were doing with her hair. "But what she said later after the meeting..."

. . .

"I appreciate you defending me back there," Historia said, wiping her tears. "Don't cry, Historia." You calmed her down. "As for Eren, let him know I thank him. They seem to be more annoyed by him than you." Historia told you.

You were in a small room after the meeting concluded. The decision was made officially, of so-called Zeke's plan to be made only half.

"Still, I'm glad they listened to me. I could tell you didn't wanna do it." You adjusted your shoulder, looking at Historia. "But they're still gonna make you turn into a titan. For the sake of Paradis." Y/n's voice went softer.
