The cabin fell silent, all eyes turning toward her. Sasha and Jean exchanged amused looks, "You already know." Jean gave a glare at Connie, but the three exchanged a look at you, waiting for your answer, assuming you would have sipped your drink.

"A crush..?" You swirled your drink, trying to deflect the question with a casual shrug. "I don't know. I've never really thought about it. I mean, we've been training for years, fighting Titans... who has time for crushes?" You scoffed, hoping to move past the topic.

But Connie wasn't about to let you off the hook that easily. "Wait, wait. If you're sipping for that, then I get a follow-up." He leaned forward, eyes gleaming with mischief, like he'd just stumbled upon the perfect prank. "Y/N... would you ever date anyone in the squad?"

Your eyes widened at the directness of the question, and the cabin suddenly felt a lot smaller.

"I—" You stammered, glancing around nervously. Jean's gaze lingered, and even Sasha's teasing grin held a spark of curiosity. The idea of dating someone in the squad? It had never been something you took seriously before.

"I... I don't know. Maybe?" You mumbled, your cheeks warming under the weight of their stares. The silence stretched awkwardly, so you quickly grabbed your cup and took another sip. The wine was better than admitting the truth.

The room burst into laughter again, the tension broken by your attempt to dodge the question. But before anyone could press further, you smirked, placing your drink down and wiping the leftover wine from your lips.

"But since you asked.." You grinned, placing your drink down, and wiping the leftover wine on your mouth. "Who's your crush, Connie?"

It got silent for only a second, Connie was surprised by your question, "w..what? why me?" Connie said pointing at himself. "I said it with honesty, so it's your turn!" You grinned.

He couldn't meet your eyes, not entirely, and the way his smile faltered ever so slightly told you there might be more to his reluctance than just shyness.
