*Hey guys, welcome back to a brand new chapter! My exams are currently going on so I'm late. Still I am trying to write as fast as possible. So, without wasting a second let's start!*
The morning sun cast a gentle warmth across Ambrette Town as Ash slowly blinked his eyes open, adjusting to the soft light filtering through the curtains. He stretched, feeling a rare sense of calm after everything that had happened recently. Beside him, Serena still slept peacefully, her golden hair spilling over the pillow in soft waves.
Ash smiled at the sight, taking a moment to appreciate the tranquility of the morning. Carefully, he slipped out of bed, trying not to disturb Serena. As he got dressed, he tried to remember what actually had happened with him and Greninja.
Serena stirred as he moved about the room, her eyes fluttering open. She looked over at Ash, who was now by the window, gazing out at the town.
Serena - (sleepy, voice soft) Ashy...what time is it?
Ash - (gentle voice) Morning, Sere. It's still early, but I figured we should get up. The others are probably already awake.
Pikachu slowly walks to Ash before hoping on his head.
Pikachu - (yawns) Chaaa...
Ash - Had a good sleep buddy?
Pikachu - Pika... (Affirmative)
Serena sat up, rubbing her eyes as she stretched. The morning light danced across her features, highlighting the soft blush of her cheeks as she looked at Ash with a warm smile.
Serena - Morning, Ashy. Did you sleep well?
Ash - (nods) Yeah, I did. It's been a while since we had a morning this peaceful.
After they both got ready, Ash and Serena made their way downstairs to the hotel's dining area. As they entered the cozy room, the scent of fresh coffee and warm pastries filled the air. At a table near the window, they saw Gary, Clemont, Bonnie, and Miette chatting animatedly over their breakfast.
Pikachu - Pikachu! (Good morning!)
Clemont - Morning! Hope you slept well.
Ash - Good morning, guys! Yeah, I feel a lot better after that rest. How 'bout you?
Clemont - We had a good sleep too.
Bonnie - (teasing) You two always seem to wake up later than the rest of us.
Miette - (smirking, voice mischievous) Maybe it's because they were up late last night.
