Seohyun's POV

We were having our lunch when I started wondering...

I never saw his father, tho.

Is he at the office?

or maybe he passed aw-

NO WHAT AM I THINKING!??!

"So, soehyun, your family lives  here?" Beomgyu's mother asked.

Shit, what should I say now?!

"Uh, Mrs. Choi, actually, my grandparents is in Daegu." I said.

"Grandparents? what about your parents then?" she asked.

"My mom passed away due to cancer when I was seven... and me and my dad, we're not in touch anymore..." I said.

"Oh my! I'm so sorry dear I didn't know." she said in guilt.

"No, no, it's all right, Mrs. Choi." I smiled.

"So, you've come to Busan to visit?" she asked.

"No, mom, she got into the wron-"

I cut Beomgyu off by saying, "Yes, Mrs. Choi, I came here to visit." I smiled.

Beomgyu looked at me confused.

I gave him a shut up look.

"Oh...that's nice, Busan can be a nice place to visit!!" she said.

"Yeah." I smiled awkwardly and continued eating my lunch.

After lunch, I went upstairs because I was so damn sleepy.

I was gonna close the door of my room when Beomgyu suddenly entered.

"Yah, what do you want?"

"Why did you lie about your family staying here?" he asked.

"Because I don't want her to know."

"Why, tho?"

"Because it's embarrassing!!"

He laughed and said, "Oh, c'mon, who cares, my mom is not gonna eat you if you tell her the truth. She'll just say, "ohh, that's sad...it's all right, you can still stay here and enjoy as much as you want and blah blah," so just chill, and tell her about it." he said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"I'm damn sure. I'm her son, I know her better." he said confidently.

"Hmm, all right then." I said and went to my bed.

"Hey, you not gonna tell?" he asked.

"I'll tell her during the evening, I'm going to sleep right now, good night." I yawned and laid on my bed, wrapping the blanket on me.

Beomgyu's POV

I smiled and thought, "Cute."

I closed the door behind me, and I was gonna open the door of my room when I saw my mom.

"Yo mom, what's up?" I asked.

"Seohyun is here to visit or what? I felt like she was lying about it." she said.

Fun Fact: My mom is good at reading people.

"Umm, yes, you're right, actually she was talking to her friend, and she got distracted and got into the wrong train. She was supposed to go to Daegu to meet her grandparents. But instead, she met me, hah, she's so lucky." I said.

"Shut up, but why did she lie, tho?"

"She was feeling embarrassed about it, and she wanted to tell this to you in the evening because she's sleeping right now." I said.

"Ahh, what's there to feel embarrassed about? anyways, it's good that she's sleeping. She might be tired, you also go to sleep. I'll wake you up in the evening."

"Okayy mom, good night." I said.

"Good night, son."

I closed the door of my room before entering.

I finally laid on my bed and wrapped the blanket on me.

I closed my eyes, trying to sleep, but all I was thinking about...

Seohyun.

Why am I thinking about her right now?

....

Nah, nah, I don't like her!!

I brushed off my thoughts, and after some time, I finally fell asleep.
