17. Secret

Seohyun's POV
10:18 pm

It was almost 10:30 and we already had our dinner. I went upstairs to my room, not knowing what to do.

I decided to sleep now so that I can wake up early, with no reason at all.

I wrapped my blanket around me and switched off the light. It was silence outside the door, so I thought everyone must've slept.

But I was wrong.

The door opened, revealing Beomgyu, and I got confused why he came here?

I got up and switched on the light, and I saw his face.

Why is he so handsome?

AYO WHAT?!?!

"Done checking me out?" he laughed and teased me.

"W-what? no, shut up!!" I looked away.

He laughed loudly and said, "Oh, c'mon, you like me or what?" he asked.

Do I really like him?

"Uh noo, why would I like you?" I laughed nervously.

"rightt..." he said and looked down.

"Um, anyways, why did you come here?" I asked.

"Ah right, well, I couldn't sleep, so I thought maybe we could go out for a walk?" he asked.

A walk? with him?

Well, I'm gonna say yes because I'm not sleepy yet.

"Uh, suree, why not?" I said.

He smiled widely and said, "okk, great!! so see you downstairs in a minute?" he asked.

"Yea, sure," I said.

"Okayy then." he said and closed the door.

I sighed and got up and went to the bathroom.

I changed into a simple white t shirt and black leggings and a black jacket.

I took my phone and opened the door. I climbed down the stairs and saw Beomgyu sitting on the sofa waiting for me.

He kept looking at me until I asked him, "Umm, you okay?"

"Huh? hehe, sorry, yea, let's go?" he asked.

"Yea...wait, does your mom know that we're going for a walk?" I asked him.

"Don't mind her, she's sleeping, she won't know and I'll take the keys also so no problem." he said.

"All rightt" I said.

We got out of the house, and Beomgyu locked the door from outside.

We started walking beside each other, and thankfully, I was wearing a jacket because it was quite cold outside.

I took a glance at Beomgyu and saw he was walking while looking down, and I looked away, asking myself.

Does he like me back?

Nah, I don't think so.

Should I confess to him?

NO WAY I CAN'T SO THAT!!!

That'll be so embarrassing...

Beomgyu's POV

I was walking while looking down, having thousands of thoughts in my head.

Should I confess to her?

What if she rejects me?

That'll be so embarrassing!!

But, what if she likes me back?

Because my mom is quite good at reading people but...

I really want to know the answer, but for that, I need to confess...

Wait, first, I'll just ask her if she's dating or has anyone in her mind?

Yea, I'll ask her this question.

I cleared my throat and asked, "Uh Seohyun, can I ask you something?"

"Yea, sure."

"Umm, do you have a boyfriend?"

I took her off guarded and she said, "Haha, what? no!!"

I sighed in relief and said, "Ah, thank god."

I realised what I just said...

"Uh, what do you mean by 'thank god'?" she asked.

"N-nothing!!" I laughed nervously.

"Do you have anyone in your mind right now?" I asked, hoping the answer would be no.

"... Yes..." she said.

I stopped walking and looked at her and asked, "Who?"

"Secret!!" she smiled and started  walking ahead.

I sighed.

I knew she didn't like me back.

But, only if you knew Beomgyu...
