THIRD PERSON POV
Hyun-Bin looked at his father seriously and shook his head. "That's not going to happen, Dad," he said firmly, making Grand Master Kim sigh.
"The sooner the better, Hyun. And she can still handle her company. I just need to ensure my granddaughter will have my company," Grand Master Kim replied.
Hyun-Bin massaged his temple before nodding. "Alright, let's do the conference," he agreed, causing his father to smile.
"What if they question my daughter's priorities? The country knows she has a successful company of her own," Ye-jin interjected, her concern evident. Grand Master Kim nodded thoughtfully at her statement.
"Byung-hun will be in charge of addressing that," Grand Master Kim reassured. "We need to make it clear that her dedication to her company only strengthens her ability to lead ours. She's more than capable of handling both responsibilities, and Byung-hun will make sure that message is conveyed convincingly." Grand Master Kim said, looking at Byung-hun.
Hyun-Bin and Ye-jin looked at Byung-hun, who nodded immediately, concealing his true motives behind his quick agreement. "Investors trust you guys. No need to worry about that," he said confidently. Grand Master Kim looked at his son skeptically but chose not to press further. Trusting in Byung-hun's assurance, he gave a resolute nod.
Hyun-Bin smiled at him and looked back at their father. "Alright then, we'll proceed as planned," he said, glancing at his father for final approval.
"I thought Ruby Jane isn't here in Korea," Byung-hun suddenly said, earning a questioning gaze from his father, who looked at the couple.
Ye-jin looked back at Byung-hun with a puzzled expression. "What makes you say that?" she asked.
"Taehyung went with her to attend the field trip of the Architecture students at your school," Byung-hun answered.
"It's fine. Just let her take her time. There's still time for her to be here on time," Grand Master Kim said, and the couple nodded.
They continued to talk and had dinner. Byung-hun was asked to stay for the night, but he refused and left the mansion, riding in the same car he used earlier, with his secretary maneuvering the vehicle.
Byung-hun adjusted his tie and took a deep breath, anger filling his eyes as he looked out the window, remembering the words his father had said. He already knew that Grand Master Kim didn't have a son with another woman. His real father was a bastard who had left him behind with his mother, who pretended she was pregnant by Grand Master Kim's son. Knowing all this, and looking at the beautiful family the Kims had, the eagerness to take over their company fueled the fire in his heart.
Ji-hoon's failure to complete his task had deeply disappointed him. Ji-hoon was supposed to make the investors and partners of Kim Corp doubt the leading CEO, but that hadn't happened.
"Contact Jason and have him do what I asked. Tell him to make sure the great-granddaughter misses the conference," Byung-hun ordered his secretary, glancing at him in the rearview mirror. The secretary nodded.
Byung-hun smiled evilly and closed his eyes. "I don't care if she's dead or alive; just make sure he does what I asked. And get Ji-hoon. Make sure he'll be in the basement. After the conference, I will kill him with my own hands."
"Yes, Master Kim," Seo answered, looking straight at the road.

THAILAND [ 8:00 PM]
"We've been served incredible fancy foods on our field trip, and now these foods aren't that expensive, but damn! They're amazing," Hanbin said as they started to try Thailand street foods.
