I went back to my table, and P Kong was missing. Park was just staring at the table grumpily. I was confused and looked over at Forth, who was quiet too.

"What's going on?" Nobody answered me. I probed again, but everyone was silent. Just then, P Aim came back, followed closely by P Arthit.

"Are you two going to tell me what's going on? Or not?!" I was starting to lose my shit. Just then Forth spoke up.

"P Linn came by. She asked Park out."

"Ok, so?"

"Park agreed to go out with her."

"All rights? I am not seeing what's the problem."

"P Kong got pissed and left."

Now, I fell silent, the weight of Forth's words laying on us. I looked over at Park. Before I could say anything, Park snapped at me.

"Don't tell me I should have known better because I don't. If he doesn't tell me what he wants, I cannot mind read."

Park stood up and walked away pissed. I just looked at him as he went off. He had a point though. I sighed. I turned to look at both P Aim and P Arthit who just looked back at me blankly.

I rubbed my face, exasperated. I decided to go check on Park. I looked over at P Aim.

"I am going to go check on him, P. Maybe you could check on P Kong but Park does have a point."

Aim nodded and I took off with Forth. We didn't meet the seniors for the rest of the day until Sotus. P Kong was there with Aim and Arthit but he appeared to be ignoring Park. That's what I thought until I saw him make his way to Park during break. I hope he was going to be sensible and actually share his feelings.

I was just sitting there during break when Arthit came by.

"Hey, this..this is for you."

I looked at the drink he offered and took it, thanking him for it. He sat next to me. I didn't say a word and just continued nursing the drink. Finally, I heard Arthit speak.

"You said you wanted to be a friend. Does that still stand?"

I turned to look at him.

"Of course P. Why not?"

"Okays.. and I would like to be your friend..and more."

I kept quiet, hitching a breath softly. I turned to look at him again.

"What..what do you mean?"

"Could I bring you out? Like on a date?"

I am pretty sure at one point of time, I guess everyone must have either stopped moving or I just have narrowed my focus on Arthit as everyone else appeared to be a statue to me except for him.

"Hmm.. P, what are you on about?"

"Park is right. You can't mind read and if I don't tell you what I want but continue to be jealous of you and Aim, that's stupid too."

"Jealous of me and P Aim?"

Arthit fell silent for a bit and then it hit me. The movie that Aim had asked me out on.

"P..."

"Go out with me at least once. If you don't feel the same way as me or like Aim better, tell me. At least we got this sorted. But not asking you out or you not giving me a chance seems a bit unfair to us both."

I cast my eye over at P Aim who was drinking his Gatorade and chatting with Forth.

"He did give me his permission to ask you out. The thing about being really close friends, sometimes they know you better than you do yourself. And you need them to wake you up."

Arthit spoke softly but firmly. I looked at him and then away, finally nodding my head.

"What do you want to do?"

"Maybe dinner tomorrow night?"

"Sounds good to me."

"It's a date then."

I nodded, smiling to myself as Arthit patted my knees and walked away. But even I could see the little jump in his walk as he went off. I just smiled as I looked up and caught P Aim smiling at me from afar.

Clearly, he had more sense and courage than me and Arthit put together. And oh yes, stupid P Kong too.
