I stared at the pack of food, and my heart just broke a little. I walked towards the lift when suddenly I felt my hand being gripped.

I turned to see Arthit holding onto my hand.

"Lam... I.. I am so sorry. I shouldn't have done that all. I.. please forgive me. Give it to me.."

I looked at him, unsure. He tugged the pack of food away from me.

"Come.."

He gripped my wrist firmly and pulled me towards his door. I tried resisting, but he just pulled me. We got to his room, and he opened the door, beckoning me in.

"Come in.. sorry, it's a bit messy as I have been having trouble doing my housework. Keeping the room clean has been a little difficult."

I looked around. The room was still quite neat. "It's ok, P. It still looks fine."

We stood there awkwardly for a bit, not sure what to say or do. I looked at him, and he seemed unsure, too. I looked at the food in his hand.

"Should I help you plate it?"

He looked at it and then at me, nodding. I got out the plates and took the food out of the thermos. Luckily, my mother had packed it securely. She had done some chicken soup with some herbs and also packed rice with it.

I plated for Arthit and got him to come eat. He nodded, asking me if I wanted to eat too. I shook my head, citing that I had my own portion at my dorm, too. Once he was done, I helped him clean up. I came out to him just trying to pack his things away.

"I will make my move, P. Please rest well. Thank you."

Arthit nodded, asking me to thank my mom for the food. I nodded and left. The next day, I was with my boys when the seniors walked past. As usual, we greeted them, and they nodded at us. Arthit did take a 2nd glance at me, but I kept my eyes away after greeting them.

What he did was not nice, though he made amends for it, but he also did it to probably protect himself considering the way I had spoken to him. We had definitely reached an impasse, and there was no going around it, I guess, so it's best to stay away.

Park and I were thinking of going to the bar. Forth had to go see his parents for a bit so he had to skip out. The weekend was upon us, so we had at least 2 days to play around with. Just then, Aim came by to our table.

"We are going to the bar tonight, boys. Join us, too."

We just gaped at him silently. Just then, Forth uttered softly, "P, are you asking or telling us?"

Aim chuckled loudly. Then he looked at us, "Telling you boys. Join us."

Forth and Park and I looked at each other for a bit before we nodded our heads though Forth told Aim he was visiting his parents and couldn't come along. Aim nodded and told Park and me to turn up at 8pm sharp instead. We nodded our heads.

Later that night, I walked in and found the seniors at their usual table. Park was already there, having gotten a ride from Kong who had offered. I slipped in next to Park who was nursing a beer and texting away angrily on the phone. I cocked my head at him and he showed me the phone. It was this pesky girl again whom he had met 2 weeks ago and was still hassling him for a date. I rolled my eyes as Park groaned.

Just then, Arthit came with a bucket of beer that Aim was holding. He saw me and didn't say anything, choosing to sit next to Park instead. But Kong came then and chased him out, saying he wanted to sit with Park. I just looked confused at this interaction as when did Park and Kong become that close?

I then slyly looked at Park who was just blushing himself. Park blushes?! That's news to me. News to me that I am so telling Forth. An eerie smirk came over me as that thought flitted through my head and Park smacked me, knowing exactly what I was thinking. I growled at him and he laughed, slinging his arms around me as Arthit sat next to me instead.

But I felt Arthit stiffen when Park slung his arm around me. I then caught Kong's eyes, who looked a little pissed seeing Park and me so close physically.

I smiled softly as I shrugged Park's arm off me slowly. Maybe he was being idiotic about it but I did not fancy being killed by Kong tonight if possible. As it is, I had already offended one senior. I didn't want to go around offending another.

I took my beer instead, thanking them for it. Aim just smiled and told me to help myself. I smiled back, and he engaged me in conversation. However, the entire time, I could feel Arthit's gaze on me.

Except it was not steely or harsh. Rather, it was a soft unspoken one. I didn't say anything, but that gaze did unsettle me in some ways. More good than bad.
