ೃ⁀➷ SYNOPSIS *ੈ✩‧₊˚

ADMIST WORLD WAR ll and the now German dictator spreading terror across Europe. The U.S needed something powerful. Their compromise was with a german scientist and the SSR creating a super serum to enhance soldiers performance.

The SSR collected a team of scientists, researchers, and a few agents to experiment and create along with studying this serum. In hopes of it being successful. Which if it was could be a major breakthrough for the U.S.

Marie and Peggy were the only women working on this team, and dealing with high ego'd men and their emasculated personalities. Were the last thing they wanted to have to endure.

One of them being the one and only Howard Stark. Known playboy to the media as he gallivanted around New York bars, clubs, and casinos every night bringing a new woman home. And easily forgetting her name by the next evening when another woman was twisted in his sheets.

To put it simply Howard infuriated Marie. When he thought he had so much power over woman. Just by flirting with them, boasting about the money he has accumulated.

Especially when he thought giving her a compliment would make her bat her eyelashes like every other woman would at the man. Like his swoon worthy words would win her over. She knew her worth, and she didn't need a sarcastic and entitled man make herself feel small.

And he simply couldn't get enough of her. Even with her quips deflating his ego, though Howard would never admit it.

It was odd, and unusual for him to ever feel this way towards a woman. This attraction wasn't what he was used to.

After he got a woman in his bed, and the romantic attraction dissipated. But Maries stuck, and she very clearly had no interest. Accompanied by a lot of distaste for him.

But what he felt inside his body with Marie is different, he yearned her.

When she would past walk him, or lean over his shoulder. Her floral perfume invading his nostrils. Like a drug he was addicted to: his body needed more. His brain over consumed with her. And he hated it.

Out of all the woman in New York he desired the woman who infuriated him.

And he hated how much power, she held over him. But even he couldn't deny that he was very much wrapped around Marie's finger. Even without her acknowledgment.

And she didn't quite realize the effect she had on him until Peggy had brought it to her attention. Marie shut the idea down hastily. Denying of ever growing feelings for the obnoxious man.

And she made a promise to herself: when she began working on "Project Rebirth" she would never become one of the many woman of Howard Stark.

But as hours they spent together increased. She began to realize maybe after all, Howard Stark isn't just a sarcastic - entitled asshole. Which is that maybe he does have a heart even if he doesn't always show it.
