Numbah Five - Crumbled

She was such a sweet girl.

She had a sugary smile,

and such bright blue eyes.

She was happy.

But the mind games,

they took over her mind.

They sucked her innocence away,

leaving nothing but a dirty conscious.

I’m ugly.

I’m worthless.

I’m so alone.

Nobody loves me.

Whispers of false truth

bombarded her empty soul,

replacing her confidence

with self-hatred.

She no longer understands

the definition of love.

Compassion is in a faraway land,

hidden beneath years of mental debris.

She was happy,

now she’s lost.

She has crumbled

and is now defined as a

schizophrenic ice cream cone.

Once sweet, now bitter.

With years of damage,

her sanity is wandering

the corners of the universe.

Her bright blue eyes

no longer shine with bright beauty.

They now burn

with furious rage.

Searching for love,

but so blind to the signs.

Crying out

but receiving no reply.

The moment she realizes

her eyes have been closed,

is the moment she will be free.

Until then, she will float in a

continuous sea

of confusion,

frustration,

hatred and

insanity.
