Aimee climbed the ladder faster than she ever thought herself capable of, and just as she was about to reach the third level, Octavia spoke up.
"They locked the hatch," She said.
"Aimee what's the problem?" Clarke asked from further down the ladder.
Aimee didn't answer and instead started pounding on the hatch with all of her strength.
"Hey!" She shouted "let me in".
Miller opened the hatch, but put his arm on the way.
"Get out of my way, now" Aimee snapped.
The boy let go and stepped aside to let her, Clarke and Octavia in. As soon as Clarke set a foot on the third level, she walked up to the Grounder.
His face was even more bloodied than an hour ago, but Aimee didn't care anymore.
"What's this?" Clarke asked, showing the Grounder the weapon.
"What are you talking about?" Bellamy asked.
"He poisoned the knife" Aimee answered "He knew Finn was going to die".
Bellamy turned to look at her, concern visible on his face.
"What's the antidote?" Aimee asked the Grounder, taking a few steps closer.
"Aimee, he doesn't understand you," Octavia said.
"Vials," Bellamy suddenly said.
He turned around and went to grab what seemed to be a small metal box.
Clarke went to look at them, and Aimee only walked closer to the Grounder.
"Please" she begged quietly "He's my brother".
But the bloodied man only looked at her without an ounce of emotions.
"Which one?" Clarke asked loudly, showing the Grounder his vials.
"Please" Aimee asked, shaking her head.
She couldn't believe Finn was going to die.
They had to do something.
Anything.
"Answer the question!" Bellamy ordered, coming to stand next to Aimee.
"Show us, please" Octavia asked in a softer voice.
Aimee ran a hand through her hair, gripping them tightly.
"My brother is dying down there" She shouted, her voice laced in desperation.
Bellamy took her face in his hands, leaning his forehead against hers.
"Hey, it's okay" he told her "We'll make him talk".Aimee breathed in and out, feeling herself relax at the boy's contact.
She nodded, closing her eyes for a few seconds.
When she reopened them, her look was hardened.
She didn't have the time to be weak.
She had to be harder.
Or Finn was going to die.
She looked Bellamy straight in the eyes.
"Do what you have to do, but make him talk," she told him.
He looked at her for a second, trying to see if she was going to change her mind.
But the Aimee he knew was gone at that moment.
He nodded sharply before walking away from her and closer to the Grounder.
