Bellamy was right. About 5 minutes after everyone had left the tent, Aimee had caught Raven sneaking out of camp, with the bomb. She had followed her, of course, but still chose to keep her distances. It was nighttime, and the forest was dark. She did everything she could not to trip on the many branches that came in her way. Her heart was beating in her chest. She was scared. Grounders could kill them at any given moment, and she sure as hell was not ready to die. But she had to. For her twin. For the rest of the delinquents. For one delinquent in particular.

Suddenly, Raven tripped. She fell down in the mix of branches and tree roots, cursing loudly.

'Raven!' Aimee exclaimed, coming out of hiding.

Raven turned around, a surprised look on her face.

'What are you doing here?'

'Bellamy asked me to check on you and Finn', Aimee explained.

She tried hoisting Raven up, but the latter only shrugged her grip away. Her surprise had turned to anger.

'I don't need a baby-sitter' she spat.

Aimee's eyes widened. Blood was dripping out of Raven's eyes. The latter immediately took notice, and wiped her face. She cursed again.

'Go back to camp' she told Aimee 'I don't need you'.

'Raven you're sick' she insisted, 'you do need me'.

Aimee glared at her, daring her to oppose her presence again.

'Fine' she concealed, 'but don't slow me down'.

The two girls started running again. Aimee was angry at Raven. Why had she sneaked out of camp like that? Her first thought was that she wished to protect Finn. But Raven was so angry at him that Aimee was sure it was not it. She loved her brother, yes. But she doubted she was still ready to die for him.

Around an hour later, they finally reached the bridge. By then, the sun had sprung up in the sky, giving them at least better visibility. Aimee could tell Raven was growing weaker and weaker. When she stumbled, Aimee sprung forward, sliding an arm around the girl's waist, supporting her. They had to hurry. The sun was already up, and the grounders were supposed to attack at sunrise.

'Come on Raven', she grunted, dragging her to the middle of the bridge.

Her shoulder was furiously aching. She finally let herself and Raven fall down on the ground. She quickly grasped Raven's bag, getting the makeshift bomb out of it. Aimee's heart was beating at a rapid rate in her chest. She was terrified, but she had to focus.

'The hydrozine', Raven mumbled in a weak voice.

She was almost laying down on the ground, groaning.

'I know I know' Aimee answered.

With shaking hands, she took the liquid out of the bag and carefully placed it in the tin.

'Gunpowder'.

'I KNOW!' Aimee snapped aggressively.

This was nerve wracking. She knew she couldn't afford to make any mistakes. Or all of them would be killed.

She put the gunpowder in the tin around the Hydrazine, doing her best to keep her hands from shaking. Finally, she closed the bomb, turning to Raven.

That's when it hit her. No one was in the high grounds aiming for the bomb. They had left without telling anyone. Aimee hadn't warned Finn. They had no shooter.

'Go away', Raven told her.

'Raven we don't have a shooter' she said frantically.

'I'm the shooter', she answered, 'go away!'.
