Aimee was pacing back and forth in the tent, trying to make sense of everything that had happened.

"Bring out the girl, Bellamy!" Murphy shouted from outside.

"Why, Charlotte?" Bellamy asked the little girl.

"I was just trying to slay my demons like you told me!" She explained.

"What the hell is she talking about?" Clarke hissed.

"She misunderstood him," Aimee said to the blond girl. Then, turning to Charlotte "That's not what he meant, Charlotte".

Murphy started shouting for the girl again, and tears pooled in her eyes.

"Please don't let them hurt me" she begged.

"If you guys have any bright ideas, speak up" Bellamy said.

Clarke, Finn and Aimee stayed silent, trying to think of something.

"Now you stay quiet!" he said accusingly to Clarke.

"Those were your boys out there!" Finn defended her.

"This is not my fault! if she'd listen to me these idiots would still be building the wall!" he argued.

"You could've stopped them!" Aimee hissed, glaring at him.

"You wanna build a society Princess? Let's build a society!"

Finn peered outside, sighing.

"No!" Charlotte exclaimed "Please, Aimee".

The girl kneeled in front of her, resting her hands on her arms.

"We are not going to let them hurt you, okay?" She assured.

Charlotte nodded, a few tears escaping her eyes.

"It's gonna be okay, just stay with them" Bellamy added, nodding towards Finn and Clarke.

"What about me?" Aimee asked.

"You come with me, if someone here is capable of calming Murphy down, it's you, you're the one who cut the rope." he explained.

"No way," Finn interrupted.

"I have to do this, Finn," Aimee said, giving him an assured nod.

The boy opened her mouth, but closed it after a few seconds, nodding.

Bellamy slipped out of the tent, holding it open for her.

"Be careful" she told her brother, before slipping out.

"Well, well, well, look who's decided to join us" Murphy sneered as she and Bellamy got outside.

"Dial it down and back off," Bellamy ordered.

"Or what? What are you gonna do? hang me?"

"Murphy please, she's a child" Aimee begged.

"I was just giving the people what they wanted," Bellamy explained.

Aimee restrained herself from huffing at that.

"Yeah, Yeah, that's a good idea" He smirked, "What don't we do that right now?"

He turned around, addressing the crowd.

"So who here wants to see the real murderer hung up?" he asked, lifting his arm in the air "all in favor?"

A few hands shot up, but most of the crowd stayed silent.

"I see" he spat "So it's okay to string me up for nothing, but when this little bitch here confesses you all let her walk?" He shouted.
