The weeks after Firat's revelation were tense. Firat wanted to leave immediately, but Baran didn't allow it. He wanted him to tell the truth to the rest of the family. For Mr. Kudret, it was not a shock. He remembered hearing conversations between father and son while in a wheelchair. That led Baran to believe there was more his father knew, but he kept quiet. Needless to say, their relationship strained again. Dilan tried to help Baran come to terms with everything. But she knew her husband needed time, just like Cihan. There were three people in shock with Firat's action. Gül, Ms. Kader and Ms. Azade. The fact that her son had instigated Firat to take the life of her grandson was what made her finally see everything with clarity. She removed the lawyers she had placed to help Mr. Hassan and began to feel consumed by guilt. She remained in her room and would not face her family after that. Gül was having a hard time assimilating Firat's actions. She distanced herself from him and soon returned overseas to continue her studies while her mother tried her best to be understanding of her daughter's decision. Firat left. Unable to face Cihan, he moved out of the mansion. He was now living in the summer house. Dilan could not deny that she was angry at him and what he did to Cihan. Her little brother felt hurt and betrayed. But she could not overlook his efforts to change and support Baran and the family against Hassan. She was struggling to find a way to help everyone. However, that day. She sought the assistance of Mr. Hikmet, the only person Baran allowed her to go out of the house with, and visited Firat. She knocked on the door several times before he answered. "What are you doing here?" He looked rough. He hadn't shaved in a while and was taking poor care of himself.

"I came to see how you were doing?" He looked at her like she was an alien. "Why would you do that? Aren't you angry at me like the rest? I almost hurt you, but I failed." She watched him. It was like he was poking at her to make her hurt him. He was ready for that. "Can I come in?" He frowned but pushed the door further. She went in without hesitation. "Don't you hate me?" She never hated him, but there was a time when she feared him. Nevertheless, the man she feared and the man in front of her differed. She checked the kitchen. No one had made a meal in a while. The refrigerator was empty. There were leftovers around the house from take-out food, but not enough for the amount of time he had been living there. She went to the door, and Mr. Hikmet brought her some groceries. She set out to make a quick but proper meal for him. He didn't question her. He let her do her thing in silence. "I knew when you pushed me. I knew you were hiding something." He intervened. "Why you didn't tell on me?" She smiled, remembering. Those were different times. They seemed so far away from her life now. "I didn't think Baran would believe me, and the family... It was of no use to me." He smiled sarcastically. "You are right. Maybe that is why I dared to do it; I knew no one would believe it. But there was where the two of us were wrong. Because even if you didn't say anything, Baran knew. After that, he was always suspicious of me." Baran had acknowledged that to her. He had never trusted Firat after that and kept him at a distance. But Dilan believed in second chances, and she wanted to give Firat the opportunity. "Firat! Could I ask for a favor?" He was puzzled. "We are having problems with our permits for constructing the new orphanage. Kerem told me that you usually take care of things like that. Could you help us?"

Baran went to Dilan's office and found it empty. Her assistant wasn't there either, but he could guess where his wife was. He decided to go to the mansion and wait for her. As soon as he entered the house, he checked on his brother. "Come in." He opened the door and found him reading a book. "I'm sorry, didn't know you were studying." Cihan closed the book and turned to his brother. "It is okay. My mind is distracted anyway." Baran studied his face. "Do you want to talk about it?" Cihan indicated no with his head and presented a counteroffer. "Do you want to play basketball? It's been a while." Baran smiled. His brother was like him. He wanted to exhaust himself physically to quiet down his mind. "Are you ready to lose?" Cihan smirked. "I won't be the one losing. Let's go!" They headed out to the basketball court in the mansion. Right next to the parking space. Baran gave the ball to Cihan, and the one-on-one game started. Cihan was having fun. Baran hadn't seen his brother smile in a while. It was a great site to see. So, he gave him some advantage. The set time was ending when Cihan evaded Baran and slammed the ball inside the ring. He remained hanging from it to make a show out of the play. With that, he was 4 points ahead. The ball was now in Baran's hands, and his brother was doing all sorts of juggling to prevent him from entering the area, so Baran changed strategy. He distanced himself and took the shot. It went in smoothly, and he scored 3 points just like that. Cihan's serious face returned. He was determined to win. Baran was guarding Cihan when he felt her. He felt Dilan's eyes on him. That distracted him and allowed Cihan to score again. An alarm went off. The game was over, and Cihan had won, with a difference of 3 points. His little brother could not be happier.
