Sukuna stared at the Yuei building in interest, a rare excitement flaring through him.
Honestly, he never saw himself as one to be a Hero. Being a sociopath and such, he never found any benefit to such a job, besides the worship and riches that it granted when you succeed, he most of all found it hilarious that people glorified a job where you beat up others for stealing a few thousand Yen. Which was exactly the problem, at least, according to his master. If he can't comprehend how people work, he'll flounder in life as his inability will push away his tools to success. And what better way to garner an understanding of how regular humans work than the very place to learn how to be the pinnacle of his confusion about humanity?
Though honestly, the entire exam was just such a bore. The written part was somewhat challenging, he has no shame in admitting that, but the physical? He was incredibly disappointed in the so-called enemies that Yuei pitted against their prospectives. How on Earth would fighting a bunch of pathetic robots that regular humans can tear apart, much less the superpowered teens that are participating, give Yuei a good gauge of their potential? He spotted at least a dozen students he knew didn't make it with decent potential and ability. Not that he cares, but it is an ill-omen to the training this place enforces.
Ah, whatever, it just means it won't be as exciting as he hoped. He shrugged it off and walked off to find his class, Class 1-A if he remembers correctly. He hopes they're as good as this school would have you believe.
'...I'm starting to regret enrolling.'
Why was that? Cause he's currently standing behind a weirdo in a sleeping bag that's creeping behind the open door of 1-A as a trio of awkward teens bumble about in conversation.
'I'm not entertaining this farce any longer.'
"Brats, move. You're blocking the way." The teens jumped in surprise at his sudden intrusion, the guy in the bag only flinched slightly, most likely at being snuck up on, which also "And you on the ground, who the hell are you? I doubt an enemy unless you're just that dumb and slow, so answer quickly before I decide you need a beating." He stared intensely at the scruffy man, who stared back just as hard.
After a moment, the man stood up, unzipping the bag as he did "Looks like one of you kids is a cut above the rest. As for who I am, I'm Aizawa Shota, you're homeroom teacher." At his full height, the man stood nearly a head taller than Sukuna.
'Huh, interesting. I can't detect any energy.' Sukuna bowed his head slightly in respect, "Forgive me for any disrespect Sensei, I was unsure of your identity." He really wasn't, he just knew that humans liked to be apologised to even if they didn't deserve it.
Aizawa nodded easily "Don't worry about it." He didn't "As for you three." He then turned to face the previous trio "I was behind you for nearly half a minute, and you hadn't even noticed me, not only that, but you took a while to be quiet. Time is precious, and you waste it pointlessly." The three easily wilted to his lecture. Pathetic.
"S-sorry Aizawa-Sensei!" The green one stuttered. Ugh, he wanted to vomit at how weak he was.
"Don't apologise, improve." He threw back sternly. He likes this guy, reminds him of a less cruel Kenjaku. "Anyway put these on." He holds a few containers with clothes in them, passing one to Sukuna and the other two to the brats "The one with red on it is for the girls, the blue and green are for the boys, I expect you all to be ready in six minutes tops."
Sukuna raised an eyebrow at that. This sounds like one of Kenjaku's surprise tests.
"QUIRK APPREHENSION TEST!?" Yep, just like them.
