As Vincent spoke, my heart was about to collapse. I could not believe the words he was speaking. I have a grandmother. Someone else is my familiar. This trip was more fucked up than I thought it would be. My legs began to shake, I was feeling dizzy again, ''no, I am not weak'', I told myself, took a big breath and asked Vincent a few things.

"Vincent, I wish for you to tell me every detail you know about my family, and by the looks Chad has, you know a lot, this makes me angrier than I look, and I truly hope you mean well, I'm a very rational person but also your worst nightmare if you try to fool me, so please, speak the truth." Enough, I was not about to tolerate anything anymore.

Gina stood by my side and said, "And she is not alone, so you better think twice to try and fool us again." Gina, she is the best friend a person can hope for.

Vincent was nervous, impatient, he was getting worried, suddenly a man entered the cabin and screaming said, "Tairin sir, it's the goblins, they have entered the forest and are headed here, we must get to safety and alert the warriors to protect the women and children!" The man was around he's 40's, he was tall and buff, his beard was so long, you wouldn't see the blade he was careering.

"Oh no! They know the princess is here! We must leave brother! Kiri, get Luna to safety, Jonh, get the men to fight, I must help my brother protect the princess." He did as he was told and ran to get the warriors. Kiri disappeared with Luna to safety.

I was not ready for these events. Am I really on a medieval era? Vincent grabbed my hand and asked me to trust him, that my life depended on it. "I know I've got a lot to explain to you, but just trust me, for your safety, and theirs, trust me love." Those mesmerizing eyes, I could not be mad for long, besides, I do not think I have much choice apparently. I looked at him and assure him that I will trust him, for now that is. Something deep inside me knew that he was been honest and that he had a good reason to not tell me all, but I can trust he will now. His hand feels warm, strong, safe. Gina and Chad were right behind us, as was Tairin.

Tairin showed us a secret door behind the fireplace, it led to a cave, where we sat to try and decide how to sneak to the witch's cabin outside the black forest. Gina was trying to be supportive, but I knew she was so scared, I bet she was remembering when we were kids, and she had nightmares with monsters like goblins. Thankfully, Chad could tell too, and he quickly hugged her. ¿I could tell Tairin and Vincent were nervous, but why?

"This is kind of like when they were hunting our kind, right brother?" Tairin quickly asked Vincent, who looked at him surprised and concerned.

I decided to listen to what they had to say, it seems finally he will tell us the truth about him.

"I think we better explain to them first brother,''¿¿r after all, you are the smart one, you will explain better than me." patting Vincent's back and with a big smile, Tairin let Vincent explain.

A bit nervous, but very sure of himself, Vincent started to speak. "We Taigens come from an immensely powerful kind, and please let me explain before you ask any question, I promise to answer all I can, but first, let me tell you all about my family and myself. As I was saying, we come from an enormously powerful kind. We are Dragons, we did not trust humans and there was a time where we were hunted. Until one day, a few weeks after the war between Espada kingdom and this one, Celeste kingdom. We have always been strong, but we did not need to kill any human, we had a bond of friendship, but once the Zerep kings started to appear, we knew they only wanted power. That is when we decided to fight back, but too many were lost, and our leader, Shan Taigen, our father, order our clans to hide and wait for a chance to avenge our lost ones. But one day, after the war between King Alfonso and King Salomon ended, we found the witch, who wanted to repay us for saving her life, using her powers and my father's heart, who did such sacrifice to give us a better life, gave us the power to shift into humans, so we could blend and survived among them. And as prince of my clan, your grandmother asked me to go into the future and rescue you. I wanted to tell you from the moment I met you, and to you too my friend Chad, but once I give my word, I'm as loyal as I'm supposed to be, so I ask for your forgiveness, and you're trust once more." on his knees he asked us forgiveness and to believe him one more time.

Neither of us could talk, what where we supposed to say? With all this happening, we might as well believe in dragons too. And I know this is not the best time to ask this but, is it ok for me to fall for a Dragon?

Chad quickly helped him up and gave him a brotherly hug and spoke. "You weirdo, I know better to think I cannot trust you. Thanks for been honest, and I am not going to lie, this is all craziness for me, but with all this shit happening, I will believe even in unicorns if you say so too. But know this, you must give your life to make sure my girls are safe at all moments, I mean it." Chad knew and trust Vincet, he was an amazing friend, and a gentleman, he believes him a hundred percent.

Vincent was glad and assured his friend that he will do all for them.

"Sorry brother, but we must return to planning a way out and see the witch. I could go and search the area and make sure it cleared to get out safely." Tairin was a bit ashamed, he did not know his brother Vincent became so familiar with them humans, you could tell by his body movements and the expression on his face.

"Right, please do and be careful, I just got back and wish to create new memories with my brother." Vincent said shaking very tightly his brother's hand.

Tairin quickly ran outside, carefully checking for any goblins to be around. Gina was quiet, which was very odd for us, she always has something to say. She was in shock; it was like living inside one of her childhood nightmares. It was killing me to see her like that. I approached her, holding her hands and tried to let her know we will be ok. That we needed to be stronger than ever. Somehow my words stared to work, and she started to speak again.

"I am sorry, it is just, well, you know, I just cannot believe this is happening, and here I am like a big coward, what kind of friend acts like this when her best friend is going through hell, I am so sorry Dianys." She gave me a big hugged and started to cry, it just broke my heart.

Suddenly Tairin was screaming!
