WRONG NUMBER
- Nevaeh -
Over a month later...

Today is the gender reveal for our baby and we're so excited.

I'm perfectly fine with either gender. I can't wait to just be a mom.

We're gonna have one of those drawn trees with pink and blue paint and everyone dips their thumb in what color for what gender they think the baby is and they add it to the tree branches.

Then to reveal the actual gender, Billie got a fucking jet to fly through the sky and blow smoke that's pink or blue.

She's so extra, but it'll be so cool.

I'm so fucking excited.

"Okay, so I came up with another name for a boy." Billie tells me as she sits down on the bed. "Okay, what is it?" I ask.

She's been brainstorming names for the past month. She wants something somewhat unique, but not crazy because she says she "doesn't wanna name her kid something insane like her parents did."

I don't even know.

"What about Levi?"

"That's cute, baby." I smile. "You don't like it, do you?" She rolls her eyes. "Literally when did I say that?" I ask. "I can just tell." Billie shrugs.

"Whatever." I laugh. "Okay, another one as a tribute to your best friend. How about Isaiah Jr.?"

"No."

"Gabriel Jr.?"

"No, Billie, we're not naming our baby after my best friend and his boyfriend." I roll my eyes. "God damnit." She groans.

"We'll figure out a boy name, I promise. If it's a boy, we still have plenty of time." I assure her. "But we're already settled on a girl name, so I feel bad." She frowns. "It's okay, baby." I say, cupping her chin in my hand. "We'll come up with one, alright?" I smile softly.

"Okay." She nods and kisses me before kissing my stomach. "Me and Mommy can't wait to find out what you are." Billie whispers.

We've established that I'm gonna be Mommy and she's gonna be Momma.

She insisted on that spelling because she calls me 'mama.'

Gay bitch.

"You're so cute." I chuckle. "I just can't wait to be a mom." Billie smiles up at me cutely. "I'm so excited to have a family with you."

"Me too, baby, me too." I grin.

There's nobody else I could imagine starting a family with. I just know Billie will be the best mom ever.

Everyone's over our house now and we're all eating before the gender reveal. Every time someone arrives, we take them to the backyard and they put their thumb in the paint and put it on the tree.

So far, the boy side has more thumbprints, but there's still a few more people coming, so it could change.

"I don't know, Vae, I'm with Billie on this one. Isaiah Jr. sounds so cute!" Isaiah shrugs. "Isaiah, I love you to death, but I'm not naming my kid after you." I tell him. "Gabe Jr. is still an offer." Gabe suggests with a smile.
