Recruitment

Not knowing what universe the young woman came from, who was increasingly absent of emotions in that cell, who knows how many months, Miguel had no choice but to consider other options.

While he didn't like her, he couldn't kill her, not because he didn't want to, but because it wasn't viable and too risky, both for him and the rest of the Spider-Society.

You could tell that she was not afraid of him, in fact, he doubted if she felt anything in general, more because of those pale and dead eyes, just her gaze said that she would not hesitate to defend herself if he attacked her, even sedated perhaps, more if, with the passage of time, she began to adapt to the doses that he or LYLA gave her, keeping her tame, but not asleep at certain points, so it was totally risky to attack her.

During those months that passed while Miguel experimented on the young woman, Miguel could not sleep, well, although before he could not because of the trauma, now less because of the girl with lilac eyes who was a huge risk and had to watch that she did not escape.

Strangely enough, she didn't.

It was then that, after arguing a bit with himself and LYLA, Miguel decided on something that could probably help both the Spider-Society and the rest of its members.

Make her part of the Spider-Society.

Spectra's power was enormous and her fighting capabilities and speed of attack, reaction and guard were remarkable, something not easy to ignore and much less wasted.

It was then that, as every morning, Spectra was awakened by LYLA, her almost only stimulus in that cell and her only relief from the rest of the attitudes received.

- Girl, wake up! You're moving! - The AI said with great joy, although, well, an obviously programmed joy.

Spectra opened her eyes with extreme fatigue and an ounce of weariness and bad mood, I reiterate, it was an apex because they were quickly erased from her face once she gained consciousness. She slowly got up from the ground and rubbed the part of her head that was resting on the floor when she was on the floor.

-Move? - She muttered as she adjusted the polyester shirt that had already, at this point, caused her an allergy such that her skin was reddish and swollen.

- Yes, you're going to be transferred to a new room! I have good news for you, you are part of the Spider-Society!" Hearing this, Spectra tilted her head to the side inquisitively... since when did they ask her if she wanted to join? - Ah, girl, I don't think you have much choice but this, at least if you want to be in this cell forever.

Spectra shook her head as she watched the metal door open with a usual creak that was already very familiar after almost a year of being in there.

- We have to hurry up so you can change and do your first test, Miguel doesn't take unpunctuality lightly and much less if someone challenges him, so I would recommend that we leave now- said LYLA, the young woman nodded as she walked to the door.

Her steps were silent because she was barefoot, her hair grew a little fast, it was more noticeable because in those months, she did not cut it and it reached a little below her hips. Her hands were irritated when holding the fabric of her clothes to prevent it from falling to the floor because it was visibly huge and weighed on her both because of the material with which it was made, and because she was still a little affected by the sedative.

LYLA led the girl through the empty hallways of the HQ, they were always empty when she came out of her cell for every exam that Miguel gave her, at this point Spectra knew that no one but LYLA and Miguel knew of her existence, so the news that LYLA gave her was somewhat strange.
