God, from that talk he had with the young woman, was more present in her life, trying not to make her give up again.
Forcing her to continue with her mission, because the demons were doing too much damage as she was more immersed in depression.
Haziel tried to convince her not to continue, she didn't have to do it for beings who didn't seek her for anything other than their own well-being, those beings who had harmed and outraged her for a long time.
On the other hand, Fate was telling Astre what she had to do, this including protecting humans from demons, this including continuing to serve Michael, since she no longer wanted to do anything.
Haziel looked at how his beloved was very conflicted, it was as if everything was playing against her and that everything was in favor of humanity, in favor of everyone except her. He usually implored her to decide to end her deal with God, that it was not worth suffering, he promised to take her with him, but Fate did not leave her alone, it always insisted for her not to fall into temptations, that continuing with her mission would not break the balance of life and death.
That everything was in her hands.
On the other hand, Miguel tried to improve his relationship with her, managing to observe how self-conscious she was, every day she seemed to be more anxious, cautious, acting robotically, as if someone was telling her "do this", "do that", etc.
Fate and God were more insistent than ever, it was as if the end was approaching, she went from here to there, on missions, killing demons, protecting, fighting, murdering, etc. All of this was driving her crazy, not helping her depression, not helping her mood.
Death was tense and strange, he didn't understand why Fate was so much more active and meticulous with his daughter than with him, even more so when there were not as many wandering demons as before, maybe Lucifer got tired?
Anyway, everything was going well for everyone except for her, the Spider-Society was at full speed trying to find The Spot in all the universes, she was looking for him in intermediate dimensions.
Likewise, the rest of the Spider-Society did not change their treatment of Astre, although Miguel had ordered that she was just another official member, finally introducing her to everyone, receiving looks of disgust in response, of hatred and jealousy, even more so when they noticed their leader with a softened expression on his face when referring to her, noticing how close they were becoming, even wanting to push them away from each other as much as possible because, damn, even in the missions they were a perfect duo, Miguel becoming more protective of her although she rarely allowed herself to be helped, but she couldn't refuse these helps as her nerves were on full force because of so much stress that the world was putting on her.
In these moments, Astre was able to "socialize" better with members like Peter and Jess, who never tired of looking for her to ask her things about her, especially the former, who still never tired of showing her the multiple photos he took of his daughter.
If Astre wasn't being pressured by two divine beings, she would have enjoyed the interactions, but at this point she felt that everyone was against her and that sooner or later they were going to ask her for something, some favor that would attempt on her life, that they were going to put her aside and how could she not? if the rest of that society treated her as if she were a freak, like many other people in other universes.
Anyway, at a certain point in life, the Spider-Society got a trace of The Spot in the middle. Immediately everyone tried to track him down and look for him, trying to locate his next stop, since he was a very fast being.
