Chapter Twenty-One

"Woah," I hear a voice mumble when I step out of my room in my one piece bathing suit, no it wasn't a gross weird one, it was black and it was laced over my stomach and didn't cover my back. I turn to see Carter and I just shoot him a thumbs up before rushing down the stairs and outback where I felt way more comfortable with all eight guys instead of just one.. Weird.

"Wow, you're really even hotter in a one piece than in a towel." Nate winks and I roll my eyes. The guys were all staring at me except my four losers. "What're y'all staring at? I know she's hot but have some respect!"

I laugh looking at the door where Carter walked out, his eyes glued to my body. Once he was seated next to Taylor he whispered something into his ear and Taylor shook his head. "That's rude bro. I wouldn't even go there." He gags before standing up and getting in the pool.

"Nate." I mumble looking back up at Nate, his eyes meeting mine. "Is Carter like... A good person?" I whisper and his eyebrows raise.

"Well he hasn't done anything besides sleep with girls. But I do that so if that makes him a bad guy I must be too.. Why? He hasn't touched you has he?"

This obviously caught Sammy's attention, along with Matt and Cam's.

"No. I just don't feel so... Comfortable around him is all." I say, Sam walking the short distance over to us. Grabbing my arms and looking me over.

"If someone touches you Melanie, you just tell me and I'll handle it." Cameron says appearing out of no where.

"No worries guys. No one touched me and nobody is going to touch me." I assure them before walking over to the pool and easing my way into the water.

"Sup," Taylor smiles politely, swimming towards me.

"Hello," I say awkwardly. I really am awkward.

"Are you ready for this huge sleepover tonight?" He asks casually. Sleep over? Oh well go figure.

"I didn't know we were having one until now," I laugh running a hand through my hair. "But I suppose I have to be ready for any and everything considering I'm the only girl."

He smiles, "just be really careful who you trust while you're out here. Just wanna put that out there now." He says looking at Carter before splashing me.

"How do you like it out here so far?" Carter suddenly asks walking up behind me, brushing his body against mine so he is standing in front of.

"Uhm, it's really nice out here. I haven't seen much though,"

"I can show you some great places if you'd like." He suggests, I quickly shake my head no.

"No thanks, Matthew has everything planned and I don't want to be rude to him and ruin any plans. Thanks though," I smile politely before walking back into the living room where all the guys are laying around. I claim my spot next to Cameron and Sammy.

"What were you and Carter talking about? You looked uncomfortable." Sam whispers in my ear as I lean against him.

"He was just saying that he could show me some great places around here, but obviously I declined because I don't know him all that well." I shrug, placing my feet in Cameron's lap, he just shakes his head and laughs.

"He needs to back off, or there will be some problems." Sam groans, oh! Protective Sammy.

"Yeah, it's cool he was just trying to be nice." I smile looking up at him. "No biggy."
