A Few Days Later

"Can I take you out tonight?" Sammy asks as we walk out of sixth period.

"No," I say remembering I'm still planing my event.

"Why not? You always turn me down." He sighs, I just shrug.

"I have things to do tonight." I say and he gives me a annoyed look.

"You always have things to do, come on. Please." He begs and I roll my eyes.

"What time?" I ask giving in. He grins as he slings his arm around my shoulders.

"Well we can just head there now," he smiles and I groan.

"I'm not even dressed in decent clothes." I frown, I just had a pair of skinny jeans and a t shirt on.

"You look fine, I promise. Its no where fancy fancy anyways." He informs me and I sigh.

"Fine." I mumble as he pulls me over to the guys.

"I'm gonna go take my lady out on a date," Sammy informs them.

"Im not your lady, dude." I scoff. "Better leave now before I change my mind."

He says bye to the guys before leading me to his car. He has a really nice car, a beamer.

"For you my lady," he winks opening the passenger door for me.

"Such a gentlemen." I say as he closes the door. I pull my seatbelt on as he gets into the car and starting it.

"I know, I try." He smirks and I roll my eyes and change the station on his radio. "What do you think you're doing?"

"I'm changing it to a station I like," I shrug shooting him a smile. He goes to say something but closes his mouth as Breath Into Me by Marian Hill comes onto the radio.

I smile and turn it.

"What is this shit?" Sammy laughs checking a text on his phone as he pulls out of the parking lot.

"I love Marian Hill, get used to it." I say as I sing along with her. Before reaching over and snatching his phone out of his hand, "I don't plan on dying today."

He watches as I stuff the phone into my bag. He rolls his eyes and laughs. "I'm a good ass driver, babe."

"Probably not with all the cars you have wrecked." I say, he goes to speak but I put my finger to his lips to shush him as I turn the radio up more.

He has a really nice bass system in his car I've come to realize.

"Can I hook my phone up to the aux?" I ask him twisting the cord between my fingertips.

"Will that make you happy?" He asks and I nod. "Fine."

I grin and hook my phone up. Got It by Marian Hill is the song I decide to play.

I look out of the window to see where were going and I realize were not even in town anymore.

Wow.

Sammy's phone starts ringing and I pull it out of my bag, seeing its Macy calling. I turn the music down and answer the phone without his permission.

"Say hi," I whisper to him. He gives me a weird look before saying hello and I put the phone up to my ear.

"Hey baby, you should come over. I'm only wearing a thong. Ditch that bitch Melanie." She moans into the phone.

I almost gag. "I'll give Sammy your message, Macy. But he's busy with me, so sorry but you'll have to wait."
