Chapter 4: The Cave

Meri's Pov

i woke up earlier then my alarm and i took a shower and changed into a black long sleeve crop top , red skinny jeans, a pair of blue and white toms with Love bracelets. i put my hair half up half down i brushed my teeth and grabbed my bag and phone. i walked down the stairs slowly and made myself a pop tart the boys weren't awake so i wrote a note ' dont come to school today i can handle my self leaving bye - Meri ' . i put it on the fridge with a magnet and grabbed my keys.

~ school ~

as soon as i walked in i went to my locker and smelled his sent i followed it and saw him beating a boy - nerd i walked over there and put my self in between him and the boy he hit me and i went to the ground Damn he got me good but it didn't leave a mark he had blood oh water i ran to the nearest empty class room and locked the doors i sat down waiting to shift and soon enough i did i sat there my tale moving,i heard a knock on the door and the door knob jingled " Meri are you OK " he asked " im fine " i said out of breath because i needed water i took my water bottle from my bag and wet my tale i moved my hands to dry it and shifted back i put make up on to prove i covered it up i opened the other door and walked out my bag in hand " Meri im sorry i didn't mean to hit you " he said to the door i quietly walked behind him " then why were you beating that poor little boy " i say behind him he spun around fast " he challenged me " he quickly reply " i don't care good bye " i say i kiss his cheek and felt tingles and walked out of school i put my bag in my car and drove to a underground cave that had water i jumped into the water and shifted i swam to the cave and pulled my self ashore and shifted to human i looked up and saw the little holes that had crystals and it looked like stars i soon was pulled into darkness .

~ Unknown person ~

i watched her he hit her she had run into a class room i new why she was a mermaid and when he hit her the water from the blood will make her shift. but soon she came out and talked " then why were you beating that poor boy " Alpha quickly replied " he challenged me " i dont care good bye " she mutters she kisses his cheek and walked out of  . i was going to follow her but the beta or my older brother put his arm around me and ruffles my hair. he pulls me into class and the teacher soon starts class " OK class well lets talk about fossils today can any body tell me about why these help our future ".

~ Meri's Pov ~

i woke up in pure darkness and dove into the water i swam out of the cave and to shore i shifted back and walked to my car. i drove home and when i got side i smelled my mate i followed the smell to the dining room " how do you not know where your own daughter is " Aiden says i walk in and say " you guys were searching for me how long was i gone " i look at my phone and notice 40 texts and 45 missed calls from my brother and sisters " what happened to you " my dad yells " can you please keep the yelling on the down low? and Aiden what are you doing at my house? " i ask holding my head " honey do you need to sit down " my mom says sincerely " yea " i mutter grabbing a chair and plopping down i cross my arms and put my head down " i was at the cave i needed to think and i ended up falling asleep " some one brings me some water and gulped it down." baby go to sleep " my dad says " yea OK i see you in the morning " i trudge up to my room and sat on the balcony i laid on the ground and stared up at the stars i never got to see then in the ocean.

~ 20 minutes later ~

i went back into the room and i locked the doors i changed into the a over sized shirt i stole from my brother and went off into the darkness.
